Absolutely horrible experience today. My inspection failed for a license plate light and not only was I charged $12.75 before my key was returned, when i was upset and didn't understand why i was being charged when no other center would have, the owner "doesn't have time to deal with this. If she doesn't pay you, don't give her the key."
I now understand why they had an immediate appointment available when no other center in kinston did. Clearly, people already know what the owner of this establishment is really all about. And it's not customer service or satisfied customers that want to return in the future.
Only place in Kinston I will take my car. Browns has true honesty employees working for them. And even if u take your car in for one thing. He will tell u if something different is wrong with it. I recommend you take your vehicle here

I took our van in to the dealership for routine service and inspection. I wasn't expecting the news that they could not inspect the vehicle until I put a set of tires on it. They gave me a fair price but I decided to shop around before deciding. My research led me to Brown's Automotive where I found friendly, professional service. I purchased four new tires, alignment and inspection for a price with which I could not happier. I have another van that will need tires and service in the future. I will be going back to Brown's Automotive without hesitation and recommending them to others every opportunity. They provided a service and price that are difficult to find. Thank you, Mr. Brown. Called Brown's Automotive to get a quote. He told me to bring my car in the next morning. So I was lucky. He got me in there fast. Fastest Automotive shop I ever been at. Great reasonable prices I must say and friendly customer service.

Took one of the work trucks there and though maybe it might need a new engine they towed the truck and had it fixed the same week wonderful service called me and gave me updates was fair on price and received the truck back in better running shape then before we had issues ! They used quality OEM parts will use them again!
