Fantastic menu with really good fried seafood and white chowder. My wife and I stopped in as it showed up as a local place we had never checked out before.
I got the 4 item fried seafood with whole belly class, shrimp, scallops, and calamari. The calamari came with its own side of a garlic butter mix with the banana peppers as well. There was tarter sauce and a nice and crunchy Cole slaw. I must say that it was better than 90% of the local seafood places we have tried. The prices were exceptional, and you could order up to 7 different options (no doubles, of course)
My wife had a bowl (really good sized at that) of the white chowder. She declared that it was one of her favorites out of all the different places we have tried them.
The restaurant was busy, and yet our server was top notch. She brought my wife's hot water with lemon and my Canada Dry Gingerale with a tall glass of ice and a straw. She was prompt all the while tending to various take out orders as well. She sure did hustle well!
This hidden gem is tucked away in a plaza where you expect to see the standard pizza places. Instead, this treasure was right there near the end on the left.
They have been established since 2009, so it really took us a minute to find this amazing spot.
We will be back for sure and will be bringing our family and friends!

Food was great. The Lobster roll had plenty of lobster. I wish the bun was a little bit bigger. The fries were fresh, hot and the perfect texture.
The restaurant is small, so I can imagine on a busy night, you wouldn't have a place to sit. I also recommend not having the television on any one particular news station, unless you have one of the other televisions on a separate news channel with opposite view points.
Consistently the best seafood spot around. Service is incredibly attentive and friendly. Sooo good.
We were in Rhode Island Saturday 05-25-2024 from Georgia visiting relatives, and found Brothers Seafood on Google Maps, we loved the people and the food.
Great customer service and chef, great local flavor feel to it.
I got the Fisherman’s Platter, my bride got fish and chips, her brother got the whole belly Clams, all portions were a good size, and the food was delicious!!!
Our next time back to Rhode Island this will be a definite new favorite stop !!!
Thank you Brothers Seafood for being so close and having just what’s it takes to be a good seafood restaurant !!
Almost forgot this part, we did takeout so while the food was being prepared we stepped next door to the bakery. We HIGHLY recommend Scialo’s Bakery, so stop in its stocked with goodies, my bride limited me on what I could get so I got a slice of the Raspberry Cheesecake, what a great choice, she got a Bismarck, a cannoli, lemon square a few other things!!
Two great eateries in one location !!!
I always like to eat seafood when we're in a seafood state or area, ie New England or Maryland.
We got carryout and ate in truck because we had our dog with us. We ordered 2 lobster rolls and calamari. Both were very good but calamari had no seasoning. It was sort of bland. Lobster rolls at $27 each pricey but very good. The meat tastes so sweet. Rolls buttered and chewy.
Typical New England mom and pop restaurant. Place was clean. Staff was friendly. Seafood was very good. I got the fisherman platter which I ate there. Enjoyed it so much that I ordered crab cakes to go which was good for lunch the next day. Seafood quality ie scallops and shrimps were above average for the price! Good find!
Been getting take out here on and off for years, sometimes traveling across the state to get what I previously considered the best fried clams and scallops around. Got clams/scallop combo (as usual), chowder and a Portuguese stuffie. Scallops were burnt- looked and tasted burnt. Aside from the actual bellies, the rest of the clams were completely inedible, harder to chew than a rubber band, and had to spit out every single one; and though they appeared ok, had a burnt taste as well. Stuffy was dry and all breading. Coleslaw still one of the best and white chowder still solid. Pricing still reasonable (but not when the main event sucks). Very disappointing overall. Hoping it’s a special occurrence, but that might’ve been the last time I go out of my way for this place. Bummed.
Some of the seafood I've had. I got fried clams and fried scallops with clam chowder. The girl at the bar was really friendly. Definitely would recommend.
