IMHO, Probably one of the best meals I had on Nantucket.
Came with no reservation on a Monday and the downstairs was packed. Was told to give the upstairs whiskey bar a try if they had any open seats and well, they did. There is a staircase in the back at connects them.
Was able to order the same menu upstairs. Service from Brooke was great.
Got the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Braised Short Rib Entree (so I could get the roasted broccoli and smoked Gouda orzo mac, which won me other the sandwich version).
The lettuce wraps were packed well with chicken salad. Wow. Not sure if that was because it was the end of the evening or not.
The short rib entree was perfect in all regards. Proper portions, great complimentary flavors in each part of it. Tender short rib, perfectly roasted broccoli and all over a "bed" of cheesy orzo.
Nice draft and bottled beer menu, which was unexpected.
Highly recommend.
Love the brotherhood!! A wicked cool downstairs pub open year round with outside dining in warmer weather! The sushi has become a favorite! Great food and friendly service! Burgers, fish&chips, French onion soup etc.
Happy hour is great. Wish they had sushi on it.
Awesome little spot- must check out! We grabbed lunch here our first day and thought it was amazing- get the swordfish sandwich with truffle fries- so good!
Really good bar food. Well above what you’d typically expect at a place like this. Super attentive and friendly service. Vibe is awesome. Feels like you’re in an old secret bar. Nothing by not to like.
I am a big clam chowder lover. I get clam chowder everywhere I go. Hands down, this is the absolute best clam chowder I have ever had in my life. Most places sell you a chowder that's 90% potato and a hint of clam. These folks are the opposite. They are not stingy with the clam. My God it was good.
I also had the oysters which were very fresh and delicious. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Our waitress was very cool.
I ended up here by accident. The only reason I came here because the folks that work at the airport recommended them and the rest of the island was pretty much closed for the evening. Everything closes see early here. These guys are open later, so I thought I'd try them out. Next time I'm in Nantucket, I'll certainly be right back here.
Awesome place. I loved their cheese burger and curly fries. We also got a brown butter lobster roll. That was delicious. I had their rum punch, whaleship Essex, and painkiller cocktails. They were awesome. The location is great. Right downtown. Also their prices were great for the value of food. The air conditioning felt great, it was a 95 plus degree day. Our waiter was great. He was friendly and attentive. Clean and welcoming place.
What a fabulous recommendation our hotel (Union Street Inn) staff made for us. This was our last night out on Nantucket and we sure hit the jackpot. Super upbeat atmosphere and a very friendly staff. Our server, I think she spells her name Erris, from Albania was fantastic. I started with a specialty gin cocktail and it was tasty. I liked it because it wasn’t too sweet which I like. For dinner my husband ordered a lobster roll and I opted for a side Caesar salad. His lobster roll was delicious and my salad was full of very fresh romaine with a flavorful classic dressing and the grilled croutons were a nice touch. Hubby still had room (not really though ha!) for dessert and loved their carrot cake. Every person working there seemed to enjoy their jobs. A very good sign!!! I highly recommend Brotherhood of Thieves.
This place has great food, service, and atmosphere. They have a good sushi, which, for me, was surprising.
