Had a nice Sunday breakfast of eggs, corned beef hash, toast, and coffee. Everything was delicious! This is where you want to go to get reasonably priced authentic blue-collar grub. This will be one of my stops next time I'm in the Boston area.
First thing you notice when you walk in is that Brothers in Wakefield is very clean and orderly.
Immediate friendly greeting from the staff and all three orders were cooked perfectly in a very timely fashion.
The person working the cash register was very friendly and attentive.
All of the food was an example of why brothers is often touted as the place to go for breakfast in the area. The chocolate chip pancakes are fantastic and they cook the sausage so that the outside is a little crispy but still juicy on the inside.
A lot of places with bottomless coffee have noticeably subpar coffee, but that is not the case at this location. The coffee was fresh made and high-quality.
The staff checked to make sure everything was good with our meals and didn’t interrupt any conversations while doing so.
And the staff was just as friendly in wishing us farewell and thanking us for our business on the way out as they were when we were walking in.
Very impressed. 10 /10 would recommend.
This place is amazing. The food is the best I’ve had in quite some time. Always fresh too. I live a few states away and anytime I’m in Boston, I make sure to stop by here. Great prices as well. They really treat you like family here too! 1000/10

Outstanding local diner with amazing service. The food was excellent - the best club sandwich I have ever eaten - and the little old lady behind the counter was an absolute gem and very attentive.
This place is no good since Jimmy and Maria sold the business. These new people are absolute thieves. Asked for toast as a sub for hashbrowns, and was told no problem. Charged for the toast. Ordered "3 eggs with bacon" and got charged for bacon. When disputed, they pointed to a TINY little sign up front which said prices aren't accurate and that they're waiting on a new video board. This place is an absolute sham. Do not go here.
Since this place has sold, it has gone down hill. Had to throw half of my home fries away because they were burnt and I damn near broke a tooth. I used to travel to this restaurant from Somerville on either Saturday or Sunday every weekend. Since they have sold, I have been here once. I probably will not be returning.
Ive been coming here since I was little, same with my whole family. Since new owners took over the food prices went up and the portions went down. I went today and it will be the last time I go. Sad to say it wasnt as good as it was before the new owners took over. The service is still friendly, though.
