We only stopped by here to take a few pre-prom photos in front of the beautiful painted murals on the FWB side of the Brooks Bridge. Only reason it is 4 stars is because of the over abundance of homeless people living all around underneath the bridge. They keep to themselves but it still takes away from the scenic views of the waterfront.
Clean fun fishing how's about that
Always wanted to walk across this bridge, today I did. 10/10. Splendid and delightful, the pavement was perfectly coarse, as to grip my feet that I didn't slip.
Loved this view for many years. Every time I crossed this bridge into Okaloosa Island it was like crossing into FUN land. Great memories ????
Well, to the truth. The place was littered with garbage and sleeping bags. Picked a bunch of garbage out of the water, had no where to put it then because the cans were full and over flowing. Hope this can be resolved.
Traffic was manageable considering the construction going on

Great place for quiet meditation and for awesome photos. Hidden in (or "under"?)downtown Fort Walton Beach.
