If you know you love waffles, absolutely stop by Brooklyn Waffle House.
I had cherry waffles with chicken. The establishment is no frills because the food is what’s important here. Cooked just right, the perfect portion of everything, and an ambience of goodness.
Next time I’m going for twice the chicken and having a buttermilk waffle with my coffee.
Food was good but I prefer if they more more spices to the chicken. Suggestion a rail can be placed on the wall behind the benches and that prevents the wall from being scratched withe the chairs. Automatic hand pump in the bathroom would be perfect and a bit of paint on the walls to refresh it. Also check in on your guest to see if they need anything extra. You wouldn't be disturbing them if you did. That would be great. Thanks for your service.
Food was delicious. We ordered shrimp with red velvet waffles and chicken with red velvet waffles , my god it was good. It was well seasoned and flavorful.

Went here because I was craving chicken and waffles. The chicken was so crispy and well seasoned. My husband got a plate with chicken, Mac and cheese, and greens. Everything was great! The vibe and the music also really set a nice mood. Overall we loved it and will be coming again!
Great spot if your looking to eat good tasting food. I came here to Dine in and walked out a happy man. I got the fried chicken special with 2 sides; collard greens and Mac cheese. Well seasoned greens and creamy Mac. My wife got the waffles and chicken and was very happy as well. Passion fruit juice was clutch and all in all it’s a small spot that could get busy with a small team but you won’t be disappointed.
Place is a cool spot to get a quick bite for brunch. Ordered the oreo waffles and chicken with a fruit punch drink. I have no complaints everything was good specially the chicken, it was crunchy and seasoned how I like. Would go back for take out and even to eat in to get that experience.
This quaint venue has a robust menu and friendly staff: unfortunately, the quality of the food I Ordered did not match the aesthetic and service. The eggs Benedict was quite terrible and the French toast was mid. We had a raspberry lemonade and passion fruit lemonade, they were good. The po’ boy sandwich was good.
Had the Red Velvet and Chicken Tenders With Passion Fruit Lemonade, I was very Good.
I enjoyed how fluffy the pancakes were and how well seasoned & crispy the tenders were. And the passion fruit lemonade for very balanced and not too sweet I actually ordered two.
However I found myself having to figure things out a bit with the customer service:
The server there is new, and unfortunately doesn’t know what butter is nor do I think she has grasped the concept for restaurant hospitality and etiquette yet. And working in a cafe/restaurant that serves waffles/pancakes/French toast, that is pretty big to miss. I found myself having to get up to get the butter, the owner heard me in the kitchen asking for it in order to get it for me because the server didn’t know what butter was.
I ask for the bill so I can pay because I was trying to catch a bus to work, she attempted to get my card before I got the bill. I finally got the bill and I waited 10 minutes for her to come get it from me. I was literally the only person in the restaurant. I had to get up and hand her my card to finalize my stay. I definitely missed my bus.
I will be going back for take-out, but not to dine in.
