Look, it’s an airport. In NY. Prices are going to be kind of stupid. But my pastrami sandwich was good, and a good portion size. Fried were good and hot. Server was polite and quick although he never refilled my water. My wife liked her turkey club. It is what it is, and I’ve had worse food at airports before.
This restaurant is huge with many seatings but not many customers. I also read quite some negative reviews beforehand. However we needed a place near our boarding gate to sit down comfortably and have dinner before our flight.
Our waiter was attentive and suggested me the quinoa salad with salmon when I was going to order the salmon dinner plate. We also ordered the cheese sandwich. Both dishes were decent, fresh made and tasty. Our waiter also was checking the kitchen to get our food out quicker when we told him our boarding time.
Comparing with those who had bad experiences here, did we just get lucky and show up at the right time and get the right waiter? At the end, we had a nice dinner in a quiet restaurant in a very busy airport before boarding and the bill was reasonable for the airport restaurant.
It was not busy at all, but multiple servers just ignored us. One of them pointed to a table though after seeing me and my boyfriend waiting. We ordered using the qr code on the table. No one came by, no one spoke with us. 15 or so minutes later our server brought our drinks. He still didn't say a word to us, looked half asleep. There was a wonderful blondish female server in another section who seemed delightful and talked to her guests but me and my boyfriend were thoroughly ignored in our seperate section by our male server. I don't know why they ask for a tip when our server didn't say a word to us and just set down drinks and food. Really frustrating.
Absolutely terrible. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes to get food. The waitress paid no attention to us and while I understand she was slammed, we had to ask several times for our coffee and several more times for our food. Finally she checked and said the kitchen hadn’t gotten our ticket. Did she not think to check on that until two rounds of people around us came, ate and left? We paid an exorbitant amount of money for what ended up being a very small amount of food that came far too late. No compensation, no apologies, no service and not great food. I would avoid at all costs.
Good food while waiting for flight. Service was good. The atmosphere was clean, bright and comfortable. Pricey.
I should have taken the hint no one was here for a reason when I came in. They served me red wine in a smaller glass because they ran out of the normal size but charged me the same amount. The food tasted like it had just came out of the freezer and yet still took quite some time to make it to me despite the empty restaurant. There are plenty of better options at this airport, try something else!
Great, sincerely caring service! Our waiter was doing everything and more to provide all things we need even before we asked. The manager easily allowed us to find a game on tv and to increase the volume. Other servers were happy when they could do that for us. Simple things that make people feel cared for but so hard to find nowadays.
My salmon plate was healthy and hearty. My boyfriend’s beyond burger (all modifications we requested were provided, usually the kitchens mess them up) was juicy and tasty.

Although the avocado is raw in the salad and the chicken is dry, it’s average airport food, nice to have a booth to sit and relax. Wished they’d told me to scan and order. I sat there for 10min and then realized it when I was reading the reviews.
