I just want to thank Josh for his professionalism, friendliness, and making me comfortable from the beginning. My appointment was not rushed he took his time by going over the exact tattoo design and placement. Josh loves what he does and it completely shows!! He strives to please his customer and truly you can see he wants you to be happy and confident with your descion. I would HIGHLY recommend him as a tattoo artists. Just left Broken Heart a few hours ago so so so happy! I finally got to have a special tattoo done, by the best tattoo artist.. I was recommended by my son who had been getting his art done, and there was no doubt he steered me rite!! I’ve waited a loooong time to have this one done and Vincent, did the most awesome work ever. I have 4 other tats and this one is PERFECT!!
Vincent is a awesome guy, greeted me at the door with a smile & so cheerful. Went rite to work, and explained every step, while designing what I wanted! Puts you at ease and made sure I was good through the whole process! Also spoke about my next one & I’m hopeful that I can set my plan in motion real soon!!

Have been going to Broken Heart now for about 7 years. Have been tattooed by Vinny,Josh,and Bridgette. All of the experiences have been great. From the laughs that we have shared to the pain of getting tattooed. I am by no means a newbie to getting tattoos as I have more then half my body done. From a back piece from Vinny to full sleeves. To leg sleeves and chest pieces from Josh. To ribs and shoulders from Bridgette. I rate the overall experience a 10/10. The shop is always clean, and the best artist in the area. They have seen me in the shop for almost 8 years now and they always welcomed me back with open arms and sharp needles ready to tattoo!! Always love walking in the door and getting a new piece. Will definitely be back for more pieces soon to finish the leg sleeves. ????????
Husband has known Vinny for a while, I want to finish my sleeve so he took me to see him. Everything was very clean, and new looking, new awesome tattoo gun, friendly artists, and an overall great experience. Love my tattoo, it's one of many more I plan on getting done there!
Josh has been doing my tattoos for at least 15 years. He is the only person I trust. My daughter even gets her tattoos done my Josh.
Josh takes his time and goes over everything with you to make sure you are satisfied with the tattoo. Everything is clean and neat.
It was my first tattoo. I had spent a long time working on my own original design. It was simple and elegant. There was nothing stock about it. You wouldn't find it in any artist album. I had a clear vision and made that vision clear. What I ended up with was crooked lines and certain pieces which veered from the design in a significant way. I spoke with the owner a few days later and sent him a picture and he agreed it was not properly done by the tattoo artist. We started working on a fix together but he eventually continued to cancel our times to meet up and blew me off. I had to go to another tattoo place to have it fixed meaning I had to create a new design which would fix what was there and also pay more money. I would not go back to Broken Heart Tattoos and would not recommend the place to anyone.
In the past 6 years I have been to 3 different tattoo artists along the shore towns of Monmouth County. It wasn't until last week that I found Broken Heart Tattoo in Keyport. Josh and Vinny run a fine establishment . I was fortunate enough to get a Friday appointment with Josh. If I could give him a 10 STAR rating I would. My tattoo is amazing .He was friendly , funny and talented as hell . I highly recommend this place .
Best artists, everyone is friendly, very sanitary, I’ll never go to another shop again. If you are thinking of getting a tattoo go here I can’t recommend it enough.
