Best WLM Reviews
This is our go to family spot! The cocktails are great and all the vegan/vegetarian food is amazing! The Rueben and the tenderloin are our favorites!
I've walked past this place dozens of times and never guessed that it has an extensive vegan menu! The outdoor patio is a great place to relax, and the food is outstanding. If you're playing with the idea of vegetarianism, this is a perfect place to start.
Let's start with the positives. The surface was all around fantastic from the greeting to the bartender to everyone. Probably the nicest bartender I have met in Broad Ripple. The atmosphere is really nice because there is outdoor seating as well as indoor seating as well as darts. Now the darts was one of my favorite parts of this whole place. I would like to try a lot more things on their menu but I did have the fish and chips and I was not impressed. It was not very tasty, however, like I said I have confidence and I will be back to try more things. Last note, there's only one TV, so this will not be a great place to watch sports.
The best place that I have found for Vegans and Vegetarians. The food is always beyond five stars and the service is always beyond five stars! If you want to save a little bit of money, you can pay in cash and it’s a little bit cheaper.
Update• I did not enjoy Violet’s vegan burger. As a vegetarian, I do not enjoy the taste of meat and this tasted exactly like a beef patty. It gets high ratings from other people, but I personally did not enjoy it.I have felt sick since I ate it last night.I’m still giving you five stars, but I had to say it.
Please do not leave an owner response or any response. I have a severe condition and your response will put me into the hospital. Thank you.
A nice little pub with a huge menu, lots of veg and vegan options. They were out of a handful of things we tried to order, but still had lots of good options. Service a little slow, but maybe it was busier than they’d realize they’d be on a Tuesday lunch. I would go back and give them a second try for certain.
I took my daughter and granddaughter in for our Thanksgiving meal since we aren’t able to be together on Thursday and the food was delicious but the server we had needed to brush up on her customer service skills.
After she took our drink order of 2 waters and one iced coffee she asked if we needed sugar and cream, my granddaughter said yes please.
She brought our drinks out promptly but forgot the sugar and cream. We waited 10 minutes for her to come out and get our food order, again, understandable.
As she was walking into another part of the restaurant I raised my hand to get her attention and asked if she could bring napkins, cream and sugar.
She slowed down, stopped right behind my daughter and granddaughter, my granddaughter was watching her too, the server turned her head slowly towards us, raise her eyebrows, did a little sideways nod with her head, paused, then slowly say - “Yeah” and turned her head back around.
I didn’t ask her for anything major and her attitude really caused my granddaughter to think about how we were just treated. ????????????
I know the server may have been busy but again, we weren’t asking for anything difficult, we were good guests and only ordered 2 meals, vegan sloppy joe and fries and pepperoni pizza and fries so it’s not like our order was complicated.
I’ll go back but if I take my family there again we’ll ask to be sat in someone else’s section if she’s the server there.
*And she never once asked how our food was after she served it. *Customer service 101 - asks guests how the food is.
Great pub in the heart of Broad Ripple. We’re very lucky to have this delcious family-run / family friendly restaurant in the neighborhood. Everyone is super kind (think Cheers) and Billy the owner runs a very fun Trivia night on Tuesdays. It’s a great time (even though we get absolutely crushed every time :)) Lots of vegan/vegetarian options along with meat dishes - it’s a perfect spot to take a extended family because all the bases are covered. Highly recommended!
We went here as a group of 5 for dinner, no reservation. We found the venue through Happy Cow as we have vegan and meat eaters in the group and wanted to cater for everyone. The wait staff were really friendly, happy to explain the beer selection to us. The food was wonderful! We had burgers, seitan tenders, fish and chips and vegan pizza. The portions are really generous, the food is freshly cooked and all really tasty. The venue has parking and both indoor and outdoor seating. Was a great old-style pub feel, would absolutely come back and highly recommend.
