When a bbq restaurant starts selling out of certain items after lunch is over ,and you can’t get it for dinner on a TUESDAY Night. You know they are doing something right here. We couldn’t get any burnt ends or the chicken and yellow rice. You wouldn’t believe how many people we heard from about the chicken and rice at a BBQ restaurant. This is unheard of. I had the brisket, with baked beans and Mac n cheese and banana pudding for dessert. Everything here is made fresh no doubt about it. I had to gently eat my brisket with my fork because it was just falling apart with such ease absolutely amazing. The Mac n cheese you want to take your time to eat it and enjoy it. If you’re going to rush through it you better double up on it.
Baked beans and banana pudding were great. Next time I’m in St Augustine on a Tuesday before lunch time. I’ve got to try this chicken and rice and see what is the big deal. Excellent food, great service just go early you’ve been warned.
May 2024: Came in on a Wednesday and the place was packed which is always a good sign. Ordered the baby back ribs and chicken plate. This was the best BBQ we had in St. Augustine area. Everything fell right off the bone and was delicious. Good prices too. They sell out of things fast as they no longer had St. Louis ribs or sweet potatoes, so get there early!
Pretty good bbq. Had 3 meats / pulled pork, brisket and chicken. Brisket was ok , needed a little more bbq sauce ( a little dry ) pulled pork was good and chicken was ok. Husband had the St Louis ribs, he said they were ok , he loved the beans. He was not a fan of the Mac and cheese though. Service was good.
Brisket and service , 10 stars! I didn't think FL could do brisket right, but I was so happy to be wrong. They also treat you like family when you walk in ???????????? new all time favorite !!
Great BBQ, fantastic and friendly service!!! Delicious BBQ chicken, brisket and baby back ribs. The ribs were very good and the Mac n cheese to die for.
For dessert, must have the bread pudding with pecans! It was out of this world!!!
Order at the counter from a one-sided paper menu- the way the BBQ ancestors intended. Brisket was amazing. The beans tasted great. I do prefer my garlic toast a little more garlic-tasting. My kids had the baby back ribs and they cleaned them off. Husband had turkey and pulled pork which were also perfect.
Great service and excellent food. You can tell they care about customers and their food offered. Definitely recommend if you love BBQ!
Excellent, smoky sliced brisket. We've lived in Kansas City and Texas and Brisky’s is in that league.
The spare ribs are cooked lean - like meat candy!
