Best WLM Reviews

I was told originally, after arriving in the area to live, that it was not a good place to eat. Boy, was I mislead….. after hearing some of my coworkers talk about it and witnessing some sandwiches that they would bring to work for lunch, I just had to try it. Best decision ever for this area of Vermont. I’ve ordered various sandwiches over the past month and they were always awesome. Big enough that I would eat the same sub two days for my lunch. You can’t beat the price for the sandwiches you receive. Loaded, fresh and delicious!!!!
Joe, you make a great sandwich.
So sorry to the others that have made my sandwiches that I can’t remember their names. One was Joes mom. LOL
Either way …… EXCELLENT Sandwiches at a great price. Please do not change your prices…. It’s getting to the point that a lot of us working can’t afford to buy to go foods any longer.
This is a citgo now and not a gulf. There is no bathroom here that they will let you use, only a portapotty. If you pay with a credit card for gas, the change will be be refunded to you so you'll have to go inside and ask for the change. Seems scammy.
Asked for 2 sandwiches, roast beef was very small, not much meat. 2nd sandwich was supposed to be without one of the meats, plus tomato. Had all the meat, no tomato and no oil and vinegar that was supposed to be on it. Very dry.
Excellent deli, with the rudest inmate looking fella behind the counter. The cashier has been told multiple time how rude he is, excuses made and clearly it’s not a concern. There is no greeting just a look and grunt as to it’s your turn to order. When it’s ready it’s plopped on the counter without a word said. If there’s more than 1 person in line you get to sort through the orders to find yours. There are similar spots to stop in both directions on 4. Don’t waste your time here.
**nice try on the excuse, it was not his first day, I’ve talked to your staff 3x about him over the last few months. I held off on a review in hopes he’d be reassigned responsibilities or improve his customer service skills.
Fantastic place that sells everything from tissues to (good) beer. Check out the coolers... Make sure to try their maple sugar ice cream! Great place to stop on your way to the slopes.
A simple looking gas station/country store that makes AMAZING SANDWICHES!!! We were out for a motorcycle ride and stopped in here for fuel. We've driven by at least 50 times and it was our first stop in. We thought we'd grab a sandwich while we were stopped. OH MY GOD!! The sandwiches were some of the BEST WE'VE EVER HAD!! We're over 55 years-old. They didn't skimp on the good stuff in the sandwiches. They were made in minutes, fresh bread and ingredients and delicious, and the woman who made them was truly a sandwich artist! When I saw the size of the wrapped sandwiches, I knew I had to leave a tip in her empty tip container. I was happy to do it. We will go back for sure!! This will be a go to stop in our many rides through Vermont from New Hampshire! Thanks for the awesome sandwiches!!
Gas prices are competitive and the sandwiches at the deli are great. The deli had some pretty limited hours this season so be aware. Also have beer and wine and a pretty good selection of groceries.
No public restrooms and the MOST disgusting porta-potty. I'll admit, I've never seen a urinal HALF FULL before...yuck. It looked like it was full of around two inches of movie theater popcorn butter. The toilet was super full, like a disgusting ice cream sundae made from a mountain of toilet paper with "chocolate" and "caramel" flowing down the sides... The smell was horrendous and I would've waited to go somewhere else if I didn't have to pee so badly. No hand sanitizer and have fun drip drying bc there's no TP.
Sorry but if you have gas and food for sale I don't think a bathroom is out of the question. I would've probably bought something if I'd been able to use an actual indoor toilet and been able to wash my hands.
Update: Thank you for the reply, but if there's truly no bathroom in the building and this is the toilet YOU or your EMPLOYEES use, I'm glad I didn't buy anything from your store. The thought of your employees using this bathroom (with no TP or hand sanitizer) and then handling products and food is disgusting. Yuck.
