The grilled jerk chicken breast dinner is where it's at here.
Paired with its oh so good mango salsa topping and coconut rice. My mouth is still watering, thinking about that tender chicken marinated with that spicy deliciousness that I just ate. I wish I had this recipe being a chicken fanatic. It's so good that I'd be making this on a regular if I knew how. Haha! :)
The presentation of this meal is undeniably beautiful too. The colours of the fruit and veg combo just pop right off the plate. It's nice eye candy for those who love taking pictures of their food. And let's face it, I know that so many of us do when it looks this esthetically pleasing. You'll see what I mean from my picture, it'll sure make you hungry. And the nice thing here is the portions are very generous to justify the price, so much that I was too full for dessert.
Food was amazing. I got the Chicken Marsala. My plate was empty afterward. It was so flavorful. My mom had the Lobster Shrimp Scampi and she enjoyed it. Serving sizes were large. The calamari had lots for the serving. I highly recommend trying this place.
We stopped here Sunday on a whim driving by and feeling hungry. What an amazing surprise! Atmosphere was wonderful, music on point, owners wonderful, and the food… speechless!! We sat at the bar and one of the owners took care of us. The French onion soup was probably the best I’ve had! Vegetable spring rolls and crab cakes delicious!! The chef/owner happened to be walking by when we were ordering dessert and gave his recommendation. Crème brûlée was absolutely divine!! I can not wait to go back and support this amazing business!!
Found on the fly and so happy. Calamari and wings for apps were fantastic. For main, the fried scallops were possibly the best i have ever had. Fish tacos amazing, and a fun take on a wedge salad by adding steak tips. Wonderful lunch.
Great all over first time goin there was with a friend she's been there its was great service im new yo the neighborhood will definitely be back. Bar tender/owner was amazing
This place is black owned and operated…the ambience is great!!
The food is authentic and fresh. The gallows are amazing. I ordered the chili and curry chicken both were cold. The bartender Erin was so busy. I didn’t want to complain. I asked for to go plates so I can warm it up at home. The rice was a bit over cooked. But I did go late at night and they accommodated me. Overall good experience for the specific population I am surrounded by.
Amelia was great with her friendly smile and getting us our food and drinks in a timely manner. We enjoyed the Jerk chicken and coconut shrimp with a rum punch which was strong and delish!
My husband and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with dinner here on August 5th, 2023, around 4 pm. The hostess sat us near the fireplace. The fire wasn't lit as it was summer, but it was still very romantic. Our waiter was fantastic the entire time. He was attentive and engaging but not intrusive. We had the coconut shrimp with orange rum marmalade to start. They were delicious. The marmalade added the perfect flavor compliment to the exquisitely fried shrimp. For our main course, I had the Baked Local Seafood, and my husband had the fried clam strips. The Baked Local Seafood was shrimp, scallops and lobster topped with bread crumbs and lobster Newburg sauce, whipped potatoes, and steamed vegetables. This was the most delicious meal I have ever had in my life. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. My food was incredible, my husband's food was incredible. Our compliments to the chef. I can not speak highly enough about this establishment; its great staff, the amazing food, the atmosphere. It made for a wonderful evening for my husband and me and our tastebuds!
