Been coming for at least 10 years and this is my first review. My favorites are the duck wings, meatballs, burgers and just tried the Chicken Pot pie for the first time and it was Awesome. My wife really enjoyed the no bun intended. This place is my top 10.
Got the duck wings as usual and they were nice and crispy, very saucy. Wife wanted the 'House Baked Jumbo Pretzel' but somehow they were out of a pretzel? Waitress could have been a little more attentive, also took a good while of standing at the front door to even be seated.
Great fish and chips. Wild mushroom flatbread was not hot but decent flavor. Service was wanting way too much time between order and dish and getting check. In service timing is everything
There are 12 or so of these across the country and this is our first encounter. From the outside it looks very inviting and the inside is set up nicely as well with indoor and outdoor flow and an indoor outdoor bar. The liquor rep they have is doing good with promo on shots or perhaps it the people behind this chain because they offer an airport size bottle with a hinge and clip that hangs to the side of your pint. Very smart and they let us keep the bottle for future use!
We went during an NFL game which we try to avoid sporting events because of the ridiculous volume places like this have their volume. It was ear piercingly loud inside and outside, but we did our best to block it out.
The food was meh but the drinks and atmosphere less the extremely loud commercials mixed with sportsball was annoying.
I recently visited this tavern in Tampa, and while they offer a wide range of options from sandwiches to burgers and even chicken pot pie, I found the food to be somewhat mediocre. The chicken pot pie, in particular, lacked the flavor punch I was hoping for, although it was a generous portion with surprising pieces of potato inside.
On a positive note, their sandwiches were of a decent size, and the sides were good. I was pleasantly surprised by the fairly big and tasty mozzarella sticks. The full bar had a good selection of options, which is always a plus.
The ambiance was enjoyable, with multiple TVs showing various games, even during larger crowds. Despite the crowd, the turnaround time for service was fairly good. I think I'll give this place another shot in the future. It has potential, and I hope to see some improvements in the food quality.

I have a personal story about Brick House, in that I tried avoiding it for a few year's because after Mitchell's Fish Market closed down in 2020 I was pretty sad that Brick House and Del Frisco's were the only other Landry's restaurants in Tampa. To me at the time this place seemed like nothing but a fancy bar, and I don't drink so I didn't see the point.
This week however staying by my friend in South Tampa, I decided to finally take a look at the website and menu....my eyes immediately landed on my favorite fish, Mahi. So we went tonight, and the atmosphere was very sporty, great pictures of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Buccaneers on the walls.
Amanda sat us down near the fireplace, which was very cozy. I got a iced tea, and she got me a side of some of the best peach pureé to add to it. I explained to her that I wanted the Mahi seasoned with the cajun seasoning, but grilled on the open flame. She was very insightful and attentive, and knew exactly what I was going for, and when it came out it was picture perfect ????????
Definitely give them a try because you can get your wings and pub type food, but also something more entrée oriented like my dish.

I went to meet a friend from college in town with his sons teammates parents. As I waited for them to show, the bartender and her assistant were awesome. I was convinced to try an IPA, and I dislike that type of drink. It had a citrus flavor that hid the dry aftertaste. It was only a fee ounces, but it packed a 9% punch. I had 2! The server outside was friendly. But he had to be on his 2nd day. He didn't get all the food requests correct. He was never around to check on us. The place was not busy that Sunday night. We waited 20 minutes for the check after we told him we were done, and I literally had to go to the back to ask someone to find him. One person doesn't make my review a negative because I know this will be handled. Everyone enjoyed the food. The sandwiches. Or burgers, we're enormous. Fries were great. My wings, when asked, blackened. I was given a souffle cup with Cajun seasoning....odd, but I enjoyed my wings. Overall, it's still a 5 star. I will be back.
