Best WLM Reviews
Pretty neat little place on the square. The food is pretty standard, not much to expect out of a bar establishment, but the menu does have some decent gems. I especially enjoyed the New York ribeye, w/ a loaded backed potato and coleslaw on the side a few months back.
Not a big fan of drinking, but they do have a pool table in there as well, which is nice.
If you don't want to deal with the high school / college crowds or the noisy speakers of the other place on the square, then this is definitely a nice little restaurant/bar to check out.
Great bar and restaurant we just ate at the high top and watched the SU game. We tried a few of the appetizers to share at the table. The brussel sprouts were maybe the best I've ever had. I ordered a side for dinner instead of the chips. The brisket sandwich was solid. The mac and cheese must have been great it didn't make it around the table. Maybe onions in it?
The brisket was some of the best I've had. If you want an "off the beaten path" local joint feel, this place is nice. They were clearly caught off guard by having several families arrive at once, causing quite a wait. The food was totally worth the wait. I'm not big on eating in a bar, and that is kinda the feel of this place, but I had a nice conversation over a really good meal. If I remember right, the price was also very reasonable.
I ordered a pork steak ... it come out pink I sent it back ... and they took it away completely and I had to order something entirely different instead of just finish cooking it ... ???? the menu has changed entirely
Not bad place. I had the seafood basket. Clams were good, the breaded shrimp was over freid, the cod breading was good but couldn't taste the cod. Couldn't get my drink till I asked then never was able to get a refill. But, the others I was with had a good experience.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. I'm usually pretty understanding with the food industry but for an $80 check this was downright unacceptable. Idk what they think brisket is but it's definitely not what they're serving. Was more like a pot roast, 90% fat, what little meat that was there was tough and hard to chew. No smoke flavor at all. They should be forced to remove the word barbeque from their name. Mac n cheese was mediocre at best. Best thing on my plate was the fries. Daughter's grilled cheese was burnt and the wife's brisket sandwich was as bad as mine if not worse, she wasn't even able to finish it. My other daughter had the Philly cheese steak and said it was good so I guess that was deserving of 1 star. With those prices you definitely need to step up your product. Definitely won't be back.
Came to eat here, said it opened at 4pm it was 4:15pm and doors were locked. No note for reason. Obviously poorly ran restaurant.
Was our first time there with our kids and we won't be going back. I was not happy with portions or the price for hardly no food. And my daughter got a grilled cheese kids meal witch didn't come with a side or a drink all charged separate and then it was burnt she couldn't eat it. 75$ for 3 kids meals and two pony shoes. Not happy
