If this review was 2 years ago I’d say it was a great experience but things must have changed at the shop. IF you can get someone to answer the phone or call you back you will get greeted politely. I asked if he could pick up the bike and I wasn’t in a rush and he could come get it when he was free, I was told he would be there over the weekend or next week. Both those never happened, no call, no text, no show, then I made multiple phone calls with no callback. Finally I called and while I was leaving a message he called me back, I told him I’ll obviously pay for the pick up which is 6 minutes away, in that conversation I was told he’d be by in the morning to pick up the bike. No show, no text, no call. A quick call or text while on his way to the shop or while he was having his morning coffee would have stopped this review. I called twice that day and left messages. No call back. Called the next morning and he answered the phone, his reason for the poor customer service was he is a one man show and can’t answer the phone or respond to messages. I would be reluctant to bring a bike to a shop that is so busy that a call back or a quick text isn’t possible, how is the quality of work being provided supposed to be the best if he is overwhelmed and overbooking his days? Super simple to tell me when I first called that his next appointment was August if that’s what it takes for him to actually follow through with his scheduled appointment. Over booking days can be frustrating for both the customer and owners. It would be great if there were honesty up front and he had a scheduling program that he could easily follow and keep customers properly informed. Not that I want to go to the “Stealer” but I could have got the bike going a month ago if I had known I’d be a kicked like a can in hopes for the bike to be picked up. Hopefully he fixes the way he schedules his days because it has the potential to be a great shop.
Dropped a lifter in my Harley Brian was able to get me in and recommend the best solution. My bike is a 2016 with nearly 50k miles so was just looking to get her running again at her previous levels. Brian recommend the parts he’s had consistent experiences with and did not try to up sell me. I drove an hour to do business with him after my regular tech was no longer working and Brian came highly recommended from some other riders with performance motor builds. I’d absolutely use him again and recommend to anyone looking for a HD tech in the lakes region.
They are great,Brian and Matt. I have 99 Roadking Classic and it now has almost all new parts. Always help me when I have issues come up.
Brought my 2002 RK in i didnt know what the issue was. Few days it was fixed, fuel line in my tank was broken. Fast service and no nonsense. So I'm returning to have them do some upgrades and can not wait to see the finished product!! Always responsive on his website and easy to do business with. He came highly recommended and I would also recommend this place.
Brian and Matt do great work. Got my 2019 Street Glide Special with the Stage 1 and 2 done and the bike runs fantastic. Good value and more importantly great quality work. I highly recommend Brian Gray's Performance.
Brian and his team are the best. Brian did a major engine upgrade for me on my 2013 Streetglide. Took the motor from a stock 103 to a 110 stage III with dyno tuning from the crew at Gardner Racing Concepts in Maine. In addition, I have been getting all of my routine services services done there, tires, inspections, and scheduled maintenance. I am very fussy and very particular and Gray's Performance always exceeds my expectations every time. I can't say enough great things about them. Hands down the best around. No one but Gray's Performance touches my bike!!
I stopped in today for a tire and a state inspection, and it was the fastest I've ever had a vehicle worked on in my life. Brian got me right in, Matt had the tires swapped in no time, and I was on my way! Not only that, he took the time to fix some loose bolts I hadn't even noticed, and I still left having paid about $200 less than I would have anywhere else.
I'm never going anywhere else now, thank you again guys!
Called on a Friday had me in Saturday for tires on my grom was less than 45 minutes and half the price of everyone else locally! Super nice guy and had a great experience I will be going back for inspections and tires.
