This restaurant is now my favorite place to eat! It is awesome on so many levels. They greet you sincerely when you walk in, they are tentative to your needs, awesome service, genuine, polite, fast service. The food is even better than their service, if that is even possible. It is good wholesome food not all spiced up and flavored with strange seasonings. Just genuine good food. The price is very reasonable, I think it's More reasonable than an average restaurant. It just doesn't get any better as far as I'm concerned.
Great food and experience! Get the Redneck special, it was real good
This place was awful. I haven't had a dining experience like this in a while. My daughter ordered the French toast and it was absolutely disgusting. My daughter made it two bites and she just couldnt eat it. It was dipped in the egg batter on one side and cooked like that so it was like eating texas toast style bread. Just absolutely dry in the middle. The biscuits and gravy tasted like plastic, my daughter literally had to spit in her napkin. The omelet was decent but incredibly runny. The only thing that was great was the homestyle fries. I politely let the waitress about the French toast and that it was very dry, she got extremely rude and picked it up and just stared at us. I said we'd take some regular toast instead. When I got the bill, the French toast had not been removed. I inquired and the waitress told me the owner had refused to remove it. I asked the waitress then if they are refusing to remove it I'd like a replacement as the French toast had barely been touched. The waitress said no. I said well if the owner was going to refuse, she could have come out and said that so we could have resolved it. She put her finger up as in telling me one moment... went in the back... came back and said the owner was busy and I could wait. I said no thanks and paid the bill. I haven't experienced that in years. And it would make sense had my daughter ate most of it, but it was barely touched. And we ordered a lot, that clearly you could see we weren't trying to get a free meal. Our bad for deviating from our usual spots. Just avoid this place. There are so many wonderful places nearby like Toast Gio or Hackers Grill that are absolutely stellar and have amazing service and food.
If you like surly service, the smell of stale cigarettes and weird goo on the top of your sausages, this is the place for you. The corned beef hash consisted of a slab of corned beef on top of home fries (which is not "hash".) Asked for ketchup and server got offended when we asked twice as we sat there with our food getting cold. Really terrible, do not recommend at all.
Service was what I’d expect in a quaint country restaurant. Cool decor, friendly enough waitress. The food however leaves much to be desired. French toast, two eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Grill to hot. Eggs overdone, sausage overcooked on one side, not touched on the other. The French toast was was cooked in pancake batter? The one thing they all had in common- lack of flavor. Not slamming the place, just be aware of what is there. Good western vibe, talkative crowd, blah food.
This is a great place for breakfast. Great service! Reasonable prices as well. Super cute inside.
Nice quiet little breakfast spot. The chicken fried steak was delicious and so was the coffee. The waitress was really friendly. Also, there was a gentleman at the bar playing an acoustic guitar and singing a few songs, which was pretty cool. The only downside was that we had to wait about 25 minutes to get our food even though there were only about 8 people on the restaurant.
My boyfriend and I stopped by Sunday morning for breakfast. We have driven by a lot and always say we are going to stop and we finally did. What a great experience! A cute/quiet/friendly restaurant. The staff was awesome, the food was fantastic. We had got an order to go, and the waitress put it in at the end of our meal to make sure it would be hot and fresh. The guy at the bar, singing and playing the guitar was a great surprise to our breakfast! We will be back often!!
