Excellent service. Seated quickly. Food was hot and delicious. The home fries are to DIE FOR SO DELICIOUS.. They taste so much better the next morning ???? Pancakes were ENORMOUS..The omelette was so good and so was the toast (huge 2 slices) Love the accuracy of my order and quick food delivery. Definitely big portions. Very reasonable prices. Thanks for splendid service when we visit Mohegan Sun again well definitely be back for breakfast.
This was our first time here. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of windows and very patriotic decor. Our service was very slow. I order a breakfast sandwich with no egg. After 25 minutes our food can out and my sandwich had egg. The waitress said she forgot and brought it back to the kitchen. From my wife’s vantage point she saw them take the egg off and put the sandwich back together. When she brought it back my wife asked and the waitress said “oh no. We made a new one fresh .” Not true. Lucky I don’t have an allergy to eggs. I just don’t like them. To be honest I told my wife maybe it was just a bad day there. I said I might give it another try. She said “We are never going there again!”
First time stopping in after some Christmas shopping. The atmosphere is fantastic. Everything is red white and blue with a strong patriotic feel. The waitress was kind and quick and the food was great. Their homemade hash was delicious! Pricing, considering the inflation these restaurants are dealing with, was definitely fair. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed.
What an awesome place! Filled with patriotic spirit, these guys support "local" like none other; with free coffee for a plethora of essential workers (and Harley-Davidson riders), and memorabilia from local agencies around their star spangled diner. Delightful staff, in and off the makeline help to turn this easy to find treasure chest of delicious food into a must-have if you're in the Uncasville area, especially if you're in need of quick home-cooked meal in a convenient location. This is only a few miles from Mohegan Sun, and the main stretch of hotels if that's what brought you here. Have fun in Uncasville, and enjoy the morning with a stop at Diana's!
Restaurants are really only as good as the cooks making the food. Fire them all now, start over with competent cooks and you'll keep your establishment going or don't and I'll be rooting for your closure....
Woke up this morning and wanted to try a new breakfast place after hearing about it on a local radio show. Sadly, the only thing this place has going for it is the atmosphere.
Husband ordered a belgium waffle, chili cheese egg-white omelet with a side of grits, everything of his was cold, butter wouldn't even melt on the waffle. I ordered strawberry filled crepes. They use frozen strawberries heated up to put inside the crepes, which made everything sit in a pool of water. Yuck!
Haven't the foggiest idea where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. Either this place started off great and went downhill or maybe we went on an off day. But we literally just left and went home to cook our own breakfast and won't be returning.
Nothing is fresh, nothing they make is made from scratch, all store bought processed cheap disgusting food. Stay away.
Breakfast at Diana’s. Heard about this place on a local radio show but man does anyone know how to due breakfast anymore. Food was cold, flavorless, and waffle was hard as concrete. Absolutely terrible food, don’t waste your time or money. If you want a step better try McDonalds up the road. At least that food is hot, has flavor and doesn’t cost two arms, a leg, and glass eye to eat there. Shame, because the atmosphere is great but everything else is poor quality and flavorless. What’s worse is Diana gives it to you with a smile. The place is playing on its right wing appeal to drum up customers which is why we went to behind with but that was a one and done for us. Too bad!
In town for the weekend from
Boston. We were looking for a local breakfast spot, and saw there were only a few options so we decided to come here for the 4.5 stars. I am convinced that the people who have left high reviews of this place have never had a good meal and do not season their food at home. The food was so bland. The pancakes and French toast were laughable. Home fries tasted like old oil. Even the orange juice was bad. The staff was friendly and quick to clean a table for us but never checked in to see how we were doing. It was so bad I wanted to warn the crowds outside waiting for a table. The fact that there are only a few breakfast options in town has to be the only reason this place is still in business.
Meal came out fast and delicious as always. Great staff and greater customers. Brings back that old America feeling we grew up with before things went sideways. Always welcomed here with a warm hello and a smile. The only breakfast place I’ll eat anymore. Amazing
