I liked Braum's the food was good. Their burgers were good, and they had crinkle fries. Food was made to order. I got a chocolate shake, was decent. They had a full grocery store inside. The kid that took my order was real nice. But the guy that gave me the order did not want to be there. Overall I wish they had one in Nebraska
Order #731 - to go - 5/15/24 - 7:54:17 - ordered 1. Country Breakfast w/Gravy HashBrown & 1. Hot Cakes & Bacon. When I got home all condiments were missing, NO syrup, ketchup, plastic ware, butter. Order taker and server was short, and did not fully complete the order. We expect certain things in our order. Apparently they are trained not to put anything more in your order. I suppose you have to ask, for servers short comings.
So i will have to check every time and thing I order at Braum’s. No trust in the System. So sad. ????
This is out of my area of expertise - very few, if any, Braums in California. That said:
Good ice cream and average fast food. This place also had a mini grocery and sold gas.
Very inexpensive.
Came here last Wednesday and Jacob (the manager) was very nice and hard work working making that ice cream 10/10 would definitely recommend
This was a great little stop along a long road trip for us. They had some tasty burgers and good ice cream. They also have a nice little convenience store in there if you need to get any last-minute groceries or anything for the house. The service was good and the food was very tasty. A good spot to stop and stretch your legs. Overall recommended!
This place gave my whole family of 5 food poisoning. It was clean but the workers all seemed to hate their jobs, not a smile in sight and probably contaminated our food with their poor service skills in the kitchen and beyond. Horrible experience being sick for three days on a road trip.
We were able to place our order quickly. The staff was great and the food was hot and delicious.
Lifetime Braum's fan. I have ate countless different locations across the Midwest. This was the best location I have been to. It was noon. Lots of people. The person at the counter was friendly and double checked what I wanted on my burger. I expected to wait a bit for my order since they were busy. No problem. Always worth it. Nope! My food and ice cream was ready as soon as I had my drink made.
The burger was a double cheeseburger work of art. The ketchup was spread evenly. Not too thick l or thin. The onion was distributed just right so that each bite had the right amount. The patties were juicy and extra seasoned. The cheese was thick and the strongest flavor.
Normally I switch between my burger and fries, but not today. I couldn't put the cheeseburger down, so I hadn't yet tried any fries. I didn't expect much as I lived during the golden age of fries and am usually underwhelmed and rarely finish my fries anywhere. Plus, my craving for a great burger had already been satisfied. And just like that... Boom! The fries tasted like perfectly crispy potatoes with a bit of salt and nothing else. A delicious surprise. I ate them all.
Now, for the important part. This is an issue that should be studied at creameries across the globe.
I always order a peanut butter cup shake as "extra blended" at any restaurant that offers them. The unblended pb cups that remain at the bottom of your shake, while a welcome surprise in the right situation, can be unavoidably tempting mess nuggets when driving. Hence, the "extra blended" request. Now, in all of the 1000s of pbc shakes I've had, there is always a good hand full of these cups left over at the bottom. No matter what. It is just one of the pains of being a pbc shake enthusiast. THIS ONE WAS BLENDED ALL THE WAY!! I couldn't believe it was real. I was so excited that I quickly drank the whole thing to check. Which was easy to do because it was so smooth. 10/10 all around.
