Best WLM Reviews

Got late night dinner here. The server was very nice to seat us even though the restaurant was closing in 30 minutes. We had chicken pasta and mussels. The food was mediocre. Everything felt dried out especially the fries and chicken. Good in a pinch but I wouldn't seek it out
Brasserie Saint-Nicolas provided an unforgettable dining experience. The mussels in creamy garlic, larger shrimp in butter, and uniquely cooked French fries showcased the culinary excellence. The pasta and lobster were a standout, and my perfectly crusted fish was a symphony of flavors. Impeccable service enhanced the overall enjoyment. The crème brûlée with Biscoff cookies and the recommended coffee sealed the meal as the best I've ever had. A truly exceptional experience at Brasserie Saint-Nicolas.
It taste delicious. Good menu and nice people. But it was noisy, especially the open kitchen.
Great Belgian classics at a local hangout! Visiting from the great US food city of Chicago, every meal we’ve had in Brussels has been great. Our dinner at Brasserie Saint Nicolas was a best of the best experience. A waiter who spoke perfect English, full of good cheer, humor and generosity of spirit. He loved introducing us to Belgium’s delights. Flavorful shrimp croquette and a cheese croquette. A pot of tender mussels cooked in beer, mushrooms and ham “Bruxelloise” local style, with a side of that same beer on the side. After a day of great Belgian meals we didn’t have room for dessert, so our waiter gave us a small complementary scoop of melon sorbet. It was bursting with ripe melon flavor! We’ll be back to try more of the menu.
I choose this restaurant ‘cause it was literally next door to my hotel. The beef carpaccio as a starter was really nice, well presented and fresh. Then I asked for the entrecote that I didn’t like too much as it was a bit cheewy. After that I was still hungry and I went for a creamy penne with chicken but the sauce was so Runny and full of garlic that I couldn’t eat. If you are looking for a place just ‘cause you’re starving, this restaurant does the job. But the quality of food and service was nothing special.
We had a lovely dinner at this cosy restaurant. The people were really nice and the food was very good. There were so many nice things on the menu we had a hard time choosing.
Nice service, modest starter, but really badly cooked cote a l’os. So disappointing. I’d ordered a good bottle of wine but the steak was awful - grey, floppy and stringy. The waiter made all the appropriate apologies but it wasn’t his fault and he couldn’t make it right.
What you want in a cozy brasserie, great little menu, wonderful staff, and a nice but simple wine list, and great dessert! Went to different place on our second night and still came back here for dessert.
