Great place! Awesome food! The Buffalo chicken sandwich was perfection…huge chunks of perfectly crispy juicy spicy chicken with perfect accompaniments. A succulent pulled pork sandwich. Good beer. And super attentive bartender and chef. Dinged one star for atmosphere ONLY because it was a chilly evening and the fireplace wasn’t going, though we might never have left the comfy leather sofas if it had been! Oh, and there’s kind of a room for everyone…patios, bar, high tables, comfy couches, and a pool table!
Stopped off on a road trip down south and left feeling full and happy.
Shared a bunch of dishes; Rodeo burger, seasoned curly fries, mozzarella sticks, and loaded tator tots. The food came out quickly and is everything you can hope for and more when getting bar food.
The atmosphere was awesome. We showed up near the end of a pool tournament so everyone there seemed in very good spirits.
Will definitely stop there again.
What a fun find on our road trip! We were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome immediately even though we were just passing through. This is a great spot for drinks and food, served by kind and friendly staff. The ambiance is great too. It’s a 100+ year old establishment that’s loaded with charm and character. Well worth the short side trip off 101!
Alysha is by far my favorite bartender! I love her positive and welcoming personality! Also love getting to try all her local flavored syrups she adds in my cocktails! She always knows how to make just the right drink for me.
This place is great! Stopped by on a drive along the California coast (coming from Ohio, of all places!) and what a spot! Delicious, handmade food, great drinks, and Alysha our bartender was so nice! I love a place with history, and this place definitely has a lot! I’d reccomend stopping by for food, drinks, and fun any time!
Visited the Brass Rail on our trip along the 101. Great atmosphere & very friendly staff. And ofc the food is fantastic: Highly recommend the seasoned curly fries, best I had in a while :)
We are staying at a nearby Airbnb and stopped by on a Tuesday. How lucky we were that it was Taco Tuesday and Larry was making his best-we've-ever-had tacos. They were fabulous and we've been all over the world. The vibe, service, beer, tacos, and people, especially Larry, Seven, and Dee, were great and so kind. Thank you for making our week. A delicious burger with tato totts on the side, one of the best I've had in a while. Decent selection of local beers on tap, and the barmaid was very friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere too. Definitely worth a detour if you're passing.
