I live in the area, so I always choose him for small fixes, I feel he does great work but he's not good at communicating with his customers and his prices are way overrated than the other guys in town. I called a local Mechanic searched a part it came out to be $56.00 and with labor he was going to charge me $140.. I went to Brantley's he told me for the part it would be $80 and labor would be $270 that's just ridiculous. And the last time I went to him was a few weeks ago for a gas line and labor I had to pay him $517 plus TAX I called and called to get an update on my vehicle he wouldn't answer any of the phones and when I would stop by he'd be there in the office !!! like I said he's a good mechanic but he's way way too pricey for me. Maybe if I was one of his buddies I could get a break.
They were extremely helpful when we ran into an issue driving back home. Couldn't have hoped for anyone nicer to have asked for help! They immediately helped us get back on the road for a really great price when they could have easily overcharged us since we were clueless and stuck.
Great same day service. My alternator went out while on I-65 during bad weather. I'm very thankful that they were able to get it replaced on the same day. Reasonable charge, much lower than the others I called. Back on the road within a couple hours. Thank you again
My experience with these guys was great. They were friendly and professional. They explained what was wrong with my Jeep and gave me a detailed description of what they would do and how much it would cost. They helped me save money. I will absolutely be using them again in the future.
Car engine needed piston repair needed extensive work. Had it done properly . Car works great now. Affordable and friendly.
Kept my truck for months, didn’t fix it-finally had to take it back…ended up trading it in. One mechanic said the electronics were fried….well they weren’t fried when I took it to this bunch is all I know…..choose carefully who works on your vehicle!
Home town service father and son operation. Fair price with a lot of experience. Turned a possible bad outcome into a hugh win. Scotty has things in his shop that gives him a big advantage over the rest. Q
