Amazing food quality, exceptional service, and the chef's friendliness elevated the dining experience to a whole new level. Every dish was a masterpiece, showcasing the chef's culinary expertise and passion. A truly unforgettable dining experience that I highly recommend to all food enthusiasts!" The food presentation was nothing short of stunning. Each dish was a work of art, meticulously arranged to please both the eyes and the palate. It added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already outstanding dining experience.
The Catfish & Grits perfect ! The lamb chops! Hands down !!! French toast Amazing !!!
One of the owners that were present , he ensured that he constantly checked on us as the patrons to ensure we were enjoying our experience . The bartender , great drinks !!!!
Thank you chef Gerald !!!
Decided to take my family out for dinner here as I had been here for brunch when they initially opened and enjoyed the food. It’s not a very large restaurant so if you were going with a big group I would suggest making a reservation during peak times.
It’s a very clean open space and of course the ever present Instagram grass wall was there. Upon sitting at the table I sadly realized there was a QR code in the mix. Im on team bring back real menus, these QR codes ain’t it. The dinner menu itself while not extensive had a nice mix of things. We decided to order a couple different things so we can try as many dishes as possible.
For the appetizers we had the Bistro Shrimp and Buffalo Wings.
For the shrimp, you had a choice between the buffalo sauce and a creamy sauce. We went with the creamy sauce but what came out was not that. Whoever wrote the description for the menu needs to go back and read the definition of creamy. What actually came was shrimp tossed in a delicious sweet chili sauce. They were large, tender, flavorful and our favorite dish of the night.
As for the buffalo wings while the portion left much to be desired they were well seasoned and we enjoyed the dipping sauce. I do wish they were crispier on the outside.
Next we ordered some drinks while looking over the entrees. We decided to give some of the cocktails a try and ordered the Bistro Punch, Passion Fruit Margarita and Bistro Colada. My passion fruit margarita was very refreshing and they enjoyed their drinks as well.
For the main dishes we decided to get the Mac and Cheese, Bistro Burger and the Lamb Chops.
The Mac and Cheese was presented in a hot skillet still bubbling with a crispy top. While it was creamy it lacked flavor and was a bit runny.
The burger itself was a decent size and was accompanied by some delicious seasoned fries. I would either reduce how much of the caramelized onions you put on the burger or put a buffer like a piece of lettuce to absorb the moisture from it as it made the bread super soggy when it came to eating the burger. Overall I did enjoy the burger and the dijoin mayo was a nice touch.
We were all shocked at the portion size on the lamb chops. As it was brought out I think everyone at the table gasped. The lamb chops themselves were delicious with the chimichurri sauce. The kale salad had a light dressing that was refreshing and the cornbread croutons were crunchy with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The smashed potatoes were the perfect texture but lacked flavor unless mixed or eaten with the lamb chops themselves.
My one negative was the 20% service charge. It’s charged to every bill and only about 2% of it goes to the server who delivered excellent service by the way. If it were in association with a big group or going directly to the server I would understand but this was just too much.
Overall I would give them an 7.5/10.
I love this place! This is my first time going for a weekend brunch and with reservation, you’re seated promptly; this is more so on their busier days. We had what I would consider to be the best fried chicken ever and the waffles; chef’s kiss ???? the lamb chops were tender and flavored amazingly along with the potatoes that came with it! This place did not disappoint and our server Imani was great too! The entire staff was warm and friendly! It’s a scratch kitchen so everything made fresh to order! Will be coming back ☺️
The cuisine was delightful, and the service by Michael (MJ) was exceptional. However, our evening took an unfortunate turn when I discovered a 12% service charge added to our bill, in addition to the expected tip. This reminded me of experiences in restaurants in Atlanta, which is not a positive comparison. When questioned, Michael explained that the service charge goes directly to the restaurant, not as a tip for him. Despite skepticism, I still left a 15% tip, but the overall feeling of being overcharged for service ensures I won't return. Spending over $330 for three people is not ideal, no matter how good the food and service, makes a 27% total tip unacceptable for me.
So glad I stopped at Brandon’s Bistro for some brunch! The food was amazingggg! Literally the best restaurant I’ve ate at in a WHILE! Our server, Imani, was so sweet, patient, and attentive. She ensured we enjoyed the food and had a delightful experience. This restaurant is a 20/10 and I will definitely come back and tell everyone I know to come & enjoy!!!!
I cannot begin to express how wonderful my experience at Brandon’s Bistro was today. The staff was amazing, the food and drinks were extremely delicious, the owner was engaging and very friendly. I think I may have died and gone to heaven! Dining from Brandon’s Bistro’s mouthwatering menu is, by far, the best experience I have ever had. We ordered the oxtail Philly, catfish and grits, collard greens, coconut beans and rice with catfish, skillet mac and cheese, and the bistro burger n fries to eat. To drink, we had the bistro punch, iced tea, and the strawberry VSOP. Definitely a five star bistro. You must visit, trust me… you won’t be disappointed!
Small & cozy restaurant. Our server was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable about the items served including down to seasoning and pairings with certain drinks. I'm absolutely going back.
The food was very good, everything item we ordered was delicious. The service was great as well!! Be prepared to pay a "Service fee" along with the suggested gratuity..my bill was around $120 after the fee and tip $170..
