Best WLM Reviews

The place is clean and nicely decorated. I sat in the large outdoor seating area, and I was there for a late lunch on a cool day, so there was plenty of open seating. There is a nice corn hole set up!
The beef chili was thick and tasty, as were the sweet potato fries! The service was great and there's plenty of parking. Prices were very reasonable!
I came for lunch. Not busy at all. Good service and friendly staff but the food lacks.
I ordered the French dip and it was plain and not worth it. The cheese is just square cold cheese slices (unmelted) and the bun was not toasted. The meat was smoked and had good flavor but all together the sandwich isn't up to even a Subway sandwich.
I've only ordered fried chicken on multiple visits. It's normally really juicy and flavorful. Most recent visit was a breast and tiny leg that was a little on the dry side. I like the salad bar a lot. Lettuce wasn't being refilled often during my most recent visit, I had to scrape the bottom. Toppings were plentiful. The atmosphere is wide open, western. Concrete floors and open ceilings give it a loud presence when many diners are present. TVs on each wall show sports. A bar covers one end of the restaurant in a horseshoe type top, plentiful seating. Staff is welcoming and attentive.
This is one of my favorite restaurants around the lake area. The staff is always friendly and knows my drink of choice. I love to take my family there and just relax. The owners are great people and you need to go there and meet them. They will treat you like family. The broasted chicken is phenomenal. I also recommend the smoked meatloaf and the brisket French dip sandwich. Honestly, everything is fantastic on the menu.
An Unforgettable Culinary Journey at the Branding Iron Restaurant
From the moment we stepped into the Branding Iron Restaurant, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes, setting the stage for a truly memorable dining experience. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making us feel right at home.
The menu was a delightful showcase of culinary creativity, each dish crafted with the freshest local ingredients. The highlight of our meal was the signature steak, seared to perfection, each bite a testament to the chef’s expertise. The flavors were bold and harmonious, leaving us savoring every morsel.
The service was impeccable; our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our needs were promptly met. It was clear that the staff was passionate about providing exceptional service and enhancing the overall dining experience.
To top it all off, the dessert was a masterful display of sweetness and texture, a perfect end to an already extraordinary meal.
We left the Branding Iron Restaurant with satisfied palates and the certainty that we would return. It’s not just a meal; it’s a culinary adventure that we highly recommend to all. Five stars are not enough to capture the excellence of this gem in Sunrise Beach
Our steaks were tough. Said ribeye we think they were sirloin. Got charged extra for extra butter and sour cream. Not a problem had we been told. It was 29.99 NYEE special. Other times there have always been good. Steaks not so much ????
Place is beautiful no doubt about that but that was the best thing about this place. Place was semi busy but not bad for a week day. Staff was nice. Was sat immediately. I ordered the 12oz ribeye dinner with 1 trip to salad bar for 30 bucks . My mother got the teriyaki salmon and salad bar. Now the ribeye for 30 bucks...is lower end ribeye. I could get a better one at store for less. The sauted onions were very undercooked still very crunchy. And the salad bar was beyond basic not worth the extra few bucks. Now I will say the salmon was actually pretty good worth the price. The waitress was not to been seen sat with empty drink for awhile and when I finally saw her and asked for water took her 10 minutes to get to me. Other than that we really didn't see our waitress and there were a few working so it wasn't like she was alone. Overall not terrible but definitely wouldn't be back.
One of the better & best places to eat in all of Lake of Ozarks for BBQ. Service was friendly and food was delicious! Must try when in Lake of Ozarks/Sunrise Beach.
