Came to Ebony for the first time to get my hair Stitch Braided. My experience was nothing less than amazing, filled with laughter and professionalism. I highly recommend going to her for your hair needs. I’ll definitely be returning.
LOVE my stitch braids hairstyle. I have received so many compliments, especially from my husband! Ebony is a fast braider, I was in and out. I would definitely recommend her and will be making my next appt soon.

First Ebony is on time and treats her client as priority. I had the luxury of having her assistant to wash and blow dry my hair. She took her time, there was not water splashing all in my face and the water was the perfect temperature. I did not feel like the shampoo was rushed at all which is not a common experience for me. She took her time conditioning and combing the conditioner through gently and thoroughly! ????????????
Next, the blow dry part was cool, again perfect temperature was not too hot and my hair was dry fairly quickly.
After the blow dry Ebony went to work. The music that was playing was definitely my speed which I enjoyed as well. Conversation was good and made time go by quickly. The only complaint is I wish I could return more frequently because Ebony’s salon feels like the one ladies go to every week to relax and pamper themselves. I definitely can’t wait until she opens he own luxury salon. She’s definitely on the right path!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️????
First of all!!!!!!! Ebony was 30 minutes late, failed to communicate and was unprepared for my appointment! We didn’t start until an ADDITIONAL hour and a half later. Once we started, she went on to wash and blow dry my hair and was a little too rough for my liking. When she was finally able to start braiding my hair, there were constant interruptions between getting a delivery, doing laundry etc. When she came in she didn’t know what service I was getting done ????. I was supposed to be done within 3 hours but ended up leaving after 8 hours!! At no point did she acknowledge any inconvenience that SHE caused. Overall, the hospitality/experience was horrid!
UPDATE: I have since spoken to Ebony and we were able to come up with a resolution.
Ebony was awesome. I love my new braids. She was very fast and neat. The most important part of her braiding experience is her conversations. It’s very rare to find a hair stylist where you can have informative and motivating conversations. I enjoyed her awesome excellent customer service and attention to details.
The service was AMAZING!!! A wash and blow dry was included, and that’s a rare service included these days, everywhere else charges extra if it’s even offered. The wash itself was the best I’ve ever had! She pays attention to detail, which I love! Everything from the parting to the size of the braids to dipping the ends in water was perfect! Not a lot of stylists tell you the steps they’re doing or most importantly how much more you have left (no one has ever told me there’s only X amount of braids left). And on top of that she has really good conversation! I will definitely be coming back get my braids done at Braids by Ebony!!!
????I LOVE MY BRAIDS!!!???? Ebony was super nice and had an amazing personality (and music tast????????). I was worried at first because it was my first time got my braids done by Someone I didn't know and She made the experience really comfy and gave good advice which I'm sure Ill hold on to (✨️ a very inspiring black woman she is✨️). Over all I really appreciate how she took time to make sure my hair was done right ( Washing and blow drying it before ????) and by the end I was Very very happy With the look. ????????♀️????????
Ebony is professional, efficient and reliable. She started on time. What I also loved about booking with Braids by Ebony is that a hair wash & blowout plus the braiding hair is included in her price. I had an amazing time getting to know you. I will definitely be back!
