I gave a 1 star for Customer service ..I walked in to ask if anyone was available to braid my hair at 630 pm it was 3 pm so I understood when they said no..I asked if i could come tomorrow the lady who was braiding hair said the other woman would be doing it... this woman who was supposed to be doing it wouldn't look up from her phone and she was frowing . It was at that moment I knew my edges would be pulled out if I allowed this lady to do my hair. It would help to greet your customers or potential customers with a little more eagerness. I have been here before and the lady who opened this place was PLEASENT AND PROFESSIONAL
i did NOT enjoy my time at this braid place. Super unprofessional. One of the ladies that was working here, her child was not properly attended to and i did not have a relaxing peaceful experience. 7 hours of my day at this braid shop. my hair isn’t all that long… they worked on others without even finishing my head. i can’t even explain how furious i was. if you’re coming at this braid place please be ware of the wait and time spending your day here, also the prices was out of hand. 280 for regular box braids that stoped to my behind. i looked at the women with a surprised face and she lowered the price to 240.
i try to support black businesses but i sadly will not be back.
Super UNPROFESSIONAL. I have tried supporting this business for almost 2 years and I’ve been disappointed for the last time! You never really get styled by the person you book with and not everyone in the shop is qualified to do certain styles requested. They sort of just do the best that they can, which is unsettling to me. They don't have a proper scheduling system so customers overlap, which in turn causes hour-long waits. They tell you one price and when you arrive they try to charge you a higher price. My daughter and I are not satisfied with the braid styles that we were told could be fulfilled. They don’t amount to the price we were charged and some of our braids/parts are of poor quality. I’m done with Braid & Tell and I do not recommend this business to anyone else! Please, save your time and book with someone else.
Regina is very professional and talent and knows how to match your face with with braids will go well with you. I absolutely love France and Julie they are quick but does beautiful braids. I had short hair when I start coming here my hair has grown out so much. I love it!! Service and professional is important
I have locs and wanted a protective style. I take pride in my hair and dnt mind paying for good work. But I’m not pleased at the way she rushed in my head. These braids are not cute, they bulky at the roots and small at the ends. It’s been 48 hours and my locs are coming threw the hair already. I’m so disappointed and not satisfied and to top it off I had to pay $180 for the bra length.. ok that’s fine, but when they ran outta hair my price went up to $200 and the braids are short. I’m new to hwy 6 and this is my last time going there. I’ll drive back to Louisiana to get my hair done for $200 the correct way. I’m not pleased at all
I made an appt with this Ms Regina to get soft locs on top of my own locs. This was jus gonna be for my vacation. My appt was made since June 8 for the 20th. On the day of my appt I realized my hair wasn't washed so I wash it. I called and called to let her know I would be about 15 minutes late. She never answered the phone or called or texted me back. Mind you we had been texting back and forth since the 8th about the hair I should get, prices, I even senta video of what I wanted. She assured me she could do it but she couldn't get the grey hair I needed. So I got it and sent her a picture of it. She said it was the right hair for what I wanted. I pulled up exactly 6:15, got out and went to the door and found it locked and she was no where in sight. I sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes thinking maybe she went to the back and had to lock up because she was by herself or maybe she went to get food and had to lock up til she got back. I even called her a few more times and still no answer. I really try to patronized black businesses but sometimes you just can't.
Environment is neat. Stylist did a nice job. Wasn't happy that i was charged for a service that was normally done along with your service. The manager hust wanted every way to charge extra. I will go again because i got a style that lasted longer than the previous braider i visited. Will say though there's some truth to the other reviews. I just focus on why im there. Get my hair done. They are fast so im in and out.
I went to Braid and Tell yesterday for the first time, and I'll tell you, it's not going to be my last time. They did such an amazing job, they were able to braid bangs on me with my long hair, this was something I was told couldn't be done by several places I called earlier! My braids came out popping and the price was beyond reasonable! I've just found my braiding place!!
