In 2014 my car broke down and overheated outside of Clayton while I was on a long road trip from Austin to Portland, OR. It turned out I needed a thermostat, but it was Sunday morning and NAPA was the only place I could find that was open. Miraculously they had one thermostat left and it happened to fit my car, but the woman behind the counter told me that no shops in town would be open until Monday morning. She mentioned that her dad was a mechanic and that he was hanging out in the back, but it was his day off and his shop was closed until the next day. Next thing I know this guy appeared and said he'd be happy to install the thermostat for me and told me to meet him down the road at his shop. I don't remember his name but I'm assuming it was the legend Brad himself. The kindness of these strangers had me back on the road in less than 2 hours, and I will be forever grateful. Cannot recommend this shop enough.
We got in a fender bender in Cimarron Canyon leaving Angel Fire. Tire was rubbing on the fender and wanted to make sure we could make it home safely. Brad (and Casey) got us fixed up to drive home, super fast, friendly, and honest!
Called for a price on an oil change over 70 miles away from Clayton and Brad simply refused to give a quote. Will be more than happy to take my money and business to anyone else. Customer service goes along ways and Brad should take customer service skill classes.

While traveling we had car issues and we were stranded. Brad and one of his employees came to our rescue! They came and got our car ordered the part and had us on our way in 2 days. Not only did they fix or car, but drove us to our hotel and picked us up the next morning. If you have car issues go see Brad and his staff. They are amazing and trustworthy!!!
I caught a piece of metal in my tire right as I was driving into New Mexico and was fearing the absolute worst of having to vacation with a donut on my car. Brad’s Auto Repair stepped in and saved the day! After calling about three different tire shops and being quoted ridiculous prices, I stumbled upon this place. They were busy working on a vehicle in the shop, but immediately stopped to take care of me. Can’t thank these guys enough for their courteous service!
We were on our way home from Denver on New Year's Day when we started hearing loud clattering coming from our front end. After staying overnight waiting for shops to reopen, we called Brad's. He got us in right away and was very honest with us about what our options were. He could have told us that he had to rebuild the front end (which we really needed)but he told us what he could do to get us on the road safely (and have the full overhaul done at home 680 miles down the road.)Not a good way to start the new year but Brad's was a true blessing. Highly recommend Brad's Auto Repair!
Breakdown while passing through town. Brad came within 30 minutes. Completed big job to get us back on road . Very knowledgeable and friendly. Reasonable cost. Highly recommend!
