Been coming here to load for 5 years now, excellent place, it's a dust bowl in the summer, but the guys and gal, are Great people, and fast, to load,
Best place to pick up I've ever been. The people there were so friendly, they offered me pizza when they knew I would need to stay for the night because of my load confirmation taking time (not their fault). They also let me use the bathroom and shower when they left. Really great people. And once everything was figured out, they were quick to load my trailer too. Can't wait to come back!
They are pretty quick to load. If you are low or out of hours they allow you to park overnight. They have two showers available even after the office closes. If you have a cell provider other that US Cellular you will have very poor reception and almost no data.
Thank you for either leaving the driver lounge unlocked on purpose or someone doing it by mistake. It was nice to be able to quickly wash up before laying down in bed after the day I had.
Not a bad place to load
I'm at a truck stop in Petersburg VA and just watched a driver dump garbage from his truck all over the ground. It only takes one or two drivers like this to make all drivers look bad. Sad to see people disrespecting places that offer parking. This is not to say everyone else is perfect but Boyd truck #8406 you know that's not right.
Just like all large companies, you have to weigh the good with the bad. Yes they pay top dollar good luck getting the miles. It all depends on the Fleet Manager you get, then stay on them, more miles, more miles plz, MORE MILES PLZ.
Great people that know how to load and treat drivers. Lot is dusty/ muddy depending on weather. Overall good place to load.
