The couple that runs this little hidden gem is very sweet and professional. The food is quite tasty not to mention affordable! Well made and so fresh looking. There was no customers around so they took a little time to chat with me. My only regret is that I didn't come here sooner
Ok so lemme start by saying, that i have traveled around the country and have tried so many different dumpling and ramen places. This takes 1st place no doubt!
I try to eat here at least once or twice a week. I get any kind of ramen with the pan fried dumplings every time. I love that it’s family owned and enjoy giving my money to them knowing it’s most likely going back into the community.

i got the beef bulgogie and it came with rice, glass noodles, and vegetables. really great food and customer service :)
Food is amazing and they always have specials of the day with great prices! I would definitely check this place out if you are in the La Verne area!

I've been coming here since I was a kid and the teriyaki bowls were $4. Something about ordering from a window that makes it feel extra special. Food is great, value is great, tables on the street are great. It's a downtown La Verne institution that should not be missed.
Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.
If I forget to pack lunch for work. The trusty bowl house will always be my number 1 choice. Quick and tasty. I dont like to admit it but I have gone 5 times in a row before because it's that good.
