Best WLM Reviews
Came here for a Sunday brunch with the family. Not loud, very chill atmosphere. Booth at front of restaurant will sit 4 adults but the table is a bit small to cram everything in, I'd recommend a table instead if you want more space.
The Perfect Bloody Mary is top notch (did mine with Gin) and it comes with a bottle of High Life as a chaser! Cheese curds are hand breaded and a top 15 in the Twin Cities (we try them everywhere we go, so that's a big deal)!
Food was amazing! BRisket and Gravy was a fun twist on a classic...delicious! Breakfast burrito was a bit greasy but very tasty! Our daughter LOVED the French Toast as well :) 5 stars!!
Ps- this restaurant opens up to the Brew Hall next door if you want other beers!
I have never ate brussel sprouts that made me say "wow" before, but theirs did!! YUM! Atmosphere is wonderful, even the bathrooms are nice. Their fried chicken is excellence, as well. A super pleasant surprise if a restaurant/bar.
Very delicious. My partner and I got the fried pickle rolls which were the best. We both ordered the pick 2 for 32 bucks. I got the brisket and ribs with beans and mashed potatoes. I disliked the beans as it was a bbq soup with a few beans. I had it switched out with dirty rice. The potatoes were good. Ribs great. But the brisket was dry. My partner got the ribs and smoked chicken with dirty rice and brussels. The brussels were delicious( my partner let me try one) the dirty rice was good. The smoked chicken was the best meat of the night. We both enjoyed the ribs. A lot of food, we ended up taking half of it home. I recommend it. Our waitress was unfortunately below average in hospitality. Give this place a try.
This was the 2nd time I had been here. The food was great both times. This time, i ordered the smoke house nachos for an appitizer, a brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries for dinner, and a slice of pecan pie for dessert.
The pecan pie was not worth ordering. It tasted like a grocery store pie. I would not get it again.
25% Gratitudity is automatically added to the check.
My only real complaint was that my $9 slice of pie was tiny. I can buy an entire pie for that price.
Absolutely breathtakingly establishment, friendly courteous staff ,beautiful atmosphere, jaw dropping mind Melting delicious cuisine,
Phenomenal cocktails, wines, drafs, imports ,
And whiskey burbon and rye list that Flys the airways ,top notch ,delicious deserts a must stop in highly recommend
Definitely worth a trip. So tasty. Brisket is amazing. Has a butcher feel. There was live music tonight. Open windows and amazing patio. Wonderful attentive staff. Did I mention the brisket??? Oh, and 8 pages of whiskeys!!!
Location is easy to get to. There was construction going on when we visited and it made it a little difficult. But without construction, super easy and convenient.
When you pull in, you can smell them smoking (love that smell!). We were seated immediately and we both thought the menu was really cool (see the pic, it's a leather cover).
We ordered the BBQ Brisket Burger with fries and the Smokehouse Sandwich with Smoked Gouda Mac n Cheese.
The food was absolutely superb. We shared with each other to maximize (you like that?) thr experience. The meat in the Smokehouse Sandwich was a bit dry, but really perked up with some BBQ sauce. The Mac n Cheese was awesome highly recommend that if you visit.
Now, we had a few issues. The first was the flies. No kidding, we were being swarmed by flies (FYI, we sat inside in the middle of July). It was insane, frustrating and honestly, gross.
The second was once our food was delivered, we never saw our server again until he was ready to bring out the bill.
Having said this, I was at a firm three stars. But after speaking with the manager, I'm good giving four stars. She was extremely open to feedback and very nice. So thanks to her for that extra star.
I hope this helps. Cheers.
Wife and I loved the burger here. Nachos and wrap were mediocre at best. I highly do not recommend the nachos they are very overpriced with mediocre toppings and the cheese was not melted. The atmosphere is nice but our food was definitely not worth the high price
