Best WLM Reviews

I just moved back to Michigan after living in Texas for over 15 years and I was looking for authentic Mexican food. I walked in, and this place was exactly how I hoped it would be! Candies and Takis for sale at the front, rainbow colors everywhere, funny signs, and very clean. The bathroom was super clean and well decorated. Everything about it was amazing. Our server was so on her game and the food was better than I could’ve ever imagined. This is my new happy place. Thank you all so much!
Went here for dessert after Jalisco Mexican Deli.
Got the mangonada and then the fruit cup.
The mangonada is made with fresh mango ice cream and I swear there's no better flavor combination than tajin and chamoy! It's a total flavor bomb! I can't say I've ever had a mangonada with fresh fruit at the bottom but it was really good.
The fruit cup was also really good. Lots of fruit, chamoy and tajin.
The service was so friendly and fast.
My partner and I had the best lunch here! We each ordered three tacos as well as rice and beans. The complimentary chips and salsa were to die for! I got three carne asada tacos and then my partner had a carnitas, chicken, and steak. The carnitas was both of our favorites! This has to be one of the best taco spots out there. The service is also impeccable! Don’t forget to swing by the market on your way out! Don’t sleep on it!
This place is truly the authentic. The family in there is amazing. I wanted to try some different things and the chef went out of his way to prepare certain foods in a way of their culture. I didn't ask him to do any of this but out of his heart he did it. Had the quesabirria tacos and and they did not disappoint at all. I'm ready to go back very soon.
I ordered the Quesabirrias to go. They were great with the consome! The little cup of salsa was too spicy for me but had a very good flavor. Friendly staff and upbeat atmosphere.
I dined in for the first time here today, and I wasn't impressed. The food was mediocre and not good enough to want to finish any of it. Their salsa was the worst I've ever had, it didn't taste fresh, it tasted like it was from a jar. Needless to say, I won't be back. Also BE FOREWARNED: The prices of the drinks on their napkin holders are NOT accurate. When I got the bill, the large Agua Fresca I ordered based off the napkin menu price of $3.75 ended up being $5.50. when I brought it to the waitress's attention she said, "oh yeah those are 2 years old" and not accurate any longer. She said she was sorry, there was nothing she could do about it.
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! This is not just an ice cream shop. They serve food too! Tacos, nachos, burritos, quesadillas, and more! Their horchata is the best I’ve had. Honestly this is my new favorite spot for authentic Mexican food! ???? Barriga llena, corazón contento. ❤️
Everything from the tacos to the desserts is amazing. The carne asada tacos are very tasty. The salsas are also very good. I would recommend getting the aguas frescas for drinks. The fresas con cream are also really good. I usually get the duro preparado. Service is always friendly and fast. The atmosphere is nice as well.
