Keep driving, this place is disgusting. Bathrooms were dirty and unkept. Chicken place inside gets 0/5 stars, would not recommend eating there. Looks appealing because it's on the border but will never stop here again, would rather pee in ditch!
The bathroom is garbage. It isn't family friendly with all of the gambling machines. Have poor service. Big prices. It's gross ???? ????.
The inside of the candy bags were gross and the drinks were out dated.
I hope they change something soon.

I was sad upon my latest visit as the Border Station has changed a lot since I visited years ago. The Border Station now has a lot of gambling machines. The store still has some unique items, but the store now seemed cluttered and dirty rather than unique and fun. It still has convenience store items, but it is no longer a fun stop. I’m sad to see it has changed.
Nice gas station with ATM, drinks, food, candy, toys, beach supplies, bathrooms, ice, beer, cigar room, fireworks, Virginia and North Carolina lottery, NC BBQ. Situated next to the North Carolina Welcome Center. Plenty of parking and some room to walk your dog. Busy during beach season!
I like to think of myself as pretty smart. But I dont think, even if you paid me a million dollars, I could make a bathroom smell worse than this one. I’m serious. It’s horrible. They are using moth balls in the urinals. For sure seen some bad restrooms in college and at stadiums, but this is the first time I could taste the air in a bathroom
Do NOT be fooled their “Jumbo wings” are just party wings. I had a convo with the lady before ordering because I want led to make sure I received regular jumbo wings. I specifically said regular wings not party wings and she said “yes, we just cut the wing tip off”. Look at the photo to see what they gave me. The standard vehicle key tip is so that you can see the size. To add injury to insult they weren’t seasoned. It was just chicken and hot sauce. That’s what I get for trying something different. For years and years I would only get the BBQ and it’s always been great, chicken is not what they should be doing.
I bought takeout and later discovered they added 4 dollars gratuity on my credit card. This is unacceptable. Bathrooms were disgusting.
This place has everything. I didn't see an issue with the bathrooms. They were clean with no odor.
