Best WLM Reviews

The food was very delicious, especially the paella. Very delicious and the seafood was fresh! The atmosphere was fantastic and very modern. My only complaint, as with many tapas places in the US, is the pricing. Very small quantities for their bacon wrapped dates and croquettes. Other competitors serve much more food for an equal to slightly lesser price. Overall, if you’re in Fulton, this place is a good time.
I like the Spanish restaurant in the heart of Fulton market. Their food is pretty good and authentic. It is also tasty. I like the olives ???? pretty tasty!!
Their sangria is pretty good as well.
Their appetizers, such as the mushroom croquette, the shrimp and the octopus are recommended to start with.
Their paella ???? with seafood is highly recommended to order, but it takes 45 minutes to be prepared so count for that.
There was some delays in bringing the appetizer, however, the manager came and rectified the situation, which shows that they have a a good management with attention to details.
I would definitely come back if I’m craving some Spanish food!
I tried really hard to find something positive to write about this place but to sum up it's been the most disappointing dining experience i had so far in Chicago. Starting with the fact that no one asked us where we want to be seated during reservation and when we arrived we found ourselves out at the patio and they refused to give us a seat indoor. After freezing outside for what felt like an eternity we received our $50 paella which was BURNT. The manager was walking by and asked about our experience, when I said it was burnt he completely ignored us and kept walking away without saying anything like an automated video game character. I had better human interactions with artificial intelligence. I had paella's all around the city as well as its hometown in Spain, and it is safe to say this is the worst yet somehow the most expensive one I had so far. You can see from the finished plate pictures that the bottom of the pan is still coated with rice because pan and the rice were welded together with char. If you accidentally scrape it up it blesses you with a disgusting burnt flavor(!). I wish that was all, we also ordered the sangria pitcher and I don’t think i had anything this watered down since college. It tasted like juice mixed with water rather than a sangria, in fact calling that a sangria is an insult to sangria as a boxed wine mixed with apple juice would probably taste better. If you're into some good tapas and paella this is NOT the spot to go to. There are many other places that have good food and better prices.
Love this place. We started going in Nashville for brunch and we now try and go when we find them in other cities. The Rosè sangria is amazing! So are all of the tapas! Bottomless sangria on Sundays are the best!
We asked our driver for his no.1 recommendation for our lunch... As he hails from Galicia, he could not recommend Boqueria enough... It did not disappoint! Great atmosphere and service! Total flavor reminders from our trips to Spain, with a little twist.
Great food and atmosphere in Fulton Market. The service was amazing, super nice and fast.
The food was also delicious, we had the chance to try a large part of the menu and everything hit the spot.
The dates with bacon were amazing as well as the potatoes.
Really good Tapas!!!! (it's bit pricy, but given the location it's normal)
Everything was good on the menu. We loved the Jamon, the gambas, pulpo, and paella was so good!!! (The only we didn't like was the steak, which was also our last dish so we were kinda full)
Overall I cannot recommend this place. It had very small portions for tapas and the price. Lamb skewer was $9 and was less than 3 inches and came on half of a piece of bread.
It tasted like everything was cooked in the morning, and then cooked again when you ordered it. The croquettes tasted stale, everything tasted like it was a little old.
We got the Escalivada and it tasted okay. However, the "focaccia" was extremely stale. The herbs put on top of it were almost whole and we're much too big of pieces to put on the bread.
The Iberian ham presentation was lackluster at best. At $34 a plate, I'd expect bigger pieces and better presentation. Instead we got burnt bread and ham in a circle.
End up being over $100 bill with two drinks and four plates. I can honestly say it did not feel worth it.
My cocktail was $16 and tasted like it should have been $8.
The ingredient quality was very poor. It felt like they spent more money on the interior design than on the menu.
If you're looking for tapas I would suggest going somewhere else.
