Best WLM Reviews
Everything was good besides the food. Atmosphere was wonderful. Drinks were great. Food was not seasoned properly and the quality was not what I expected. The music also wasn’t great for a Friday night. I thought it would be a country kind of night but it turned out to be a throwback evening to other things. Definitely not the vibe I had expected or was looking for.
The dessert had granola in it and it was an apple cobbler, tasted super weird. Definitely not a place I would go to for dinner again, especially not on a date night.
Went here today to celebrate my friend’s wedding. I ordered a Boots & Bones Burger with fries. I drank lemonade twice and tap water. Not too many of the guest were happy with the tap water and fountain sodas not be being fizzy enough. Not sure if I visit this restaurant again. 3/5 - review grade
The BEST BBQ I have had in NYC area! I love the decor too! Makes me feel like I’m in Nashville (many TV screens playing sports programs, nice bar area). Staff there are so friendly and they were so nice to my kids too! My favorites are the briskets, ribs, sausages, and nachos. Location is amazing. Right off the Path Train, steps from Grove St exit. Definitely be going back often!
I came here for brunch and I had a great time. Boots and Bones offers Nashville style, barbecue food, and other great American Classics. I highly recommend the lemon pepper wings. The waffle sandwich, which came with chicken, eggs and sausage was a favorite as well. The pancake was also nice and fluffy. The stuffed French toast was so delicious. I love the creamy texture of the ricotta inside. For the cocktails, I enjoyed the mimosa margarita. We also try some of the holiday cocktails as well. I also had the burnt ends, which is not pictured here and that I highly recommend. Also, boots and bones have a speakeasy downstairs and have Apple TVs for you to watch our latest games and shows. It’s conveniently right across the street of the Path Grove street train station.
Been here a few times and it has been fun, food is usually okay. This last trip however I tried the buffalo chicken dip (might be new?) and it was the most bizarre experience. Really big, unseasoned cubes of chicken, runny sauce, soft pitas that you couldn't even dip with. Something crunchy might have at least given it texture. The whole experience just...was bizarre. Leaving this review in the hopes they level up their approach because I love Buffalo chicken dip and it would be a great add to the menu if executed well.
Boots & Bones is a cool restaurant bar with a lively evening atmosphere. The background music rocks as it covers different eras and genres which I really liked. Folks sing along to the songs all the time which is fun. The food is a collection of ribs, burgers, and chicken along with great appetizers and sides to choose from. The bar staff was friendly and engaged with everyone at the bar. It is convenient as it is within steps from the PATH Train Grove Street Station. I ordered a rib platter with substantial serving of ribs, fries, pickles and cole slaw. Good stuff and fun atmosphere.
Amazing place! Drinks and food! A great Monday night spot! Most places are closed on Mondays but not here! I'm visiting from Cayman Islands, and if im in the area again, I will stop by again! Steven is the bomb! Drink-o-ligist Supreme! Thanks, Boots & Bones, for the Jersey City hospitality! And it's my Birthday!
with love, the Cayman girls!
Traveled all the way from Bushwick, Brooklyn and was not disappointed.
The atmosphere was inviting and friendly. The service was on point. Our server was knowledgeable and on point. I'm embarrassed I can't recall her name. She was a delight.
We even met the owner Chris. He was working the room and was genuine and also attending to the customers ensuring satisfaction.
My son, myself and my grandson will be back. I need to try a few things from the menu.
