Great old-school bar with serious karaoke talent - if you don't mind inside smoking.

Friday karaoke night and haven't been in 6 months.... Chill family atmosphere... Single looking to mingle seemed out of place. Everyone seems paired up by 11p... went to Dee Ford.... much better single vibe..
Tammy I live in Virginia now. What happened to Linda the former manager. Her husband owned it in the early 2000s. He was in jail. I had a business there a place on the lake. I was good friends with Jay and his wife Cindy. People lived in the condos behind u.
Bootleggers is literally a home away from home, because Tammy, Lester and Stephanie are like family, and they treat us so good every single time we go there. It's a great live music venue and has an awesome atmosphere! Love it!
I enjoy being that bootlegger the owner is very nice person and the guy that runs karaoke he's a very cool guy and the bartenders they're very nice people and always make sure that you feel comfortable and have what you drink to you at a good reasonable time.
I'm not sure if there is any boot scooting goin on here. And I'm not sure why Google asked me that either, Lol.
Here is what I know and have experienced while "docked" near this establishment..
I know there is boat ramp and dock access, and I know all three business in this little spot claim owner ship of it so be advised there are some tensions amongst the natives which need to be permanently resolved if you want my honest perception so far.
I only say this because as "new" visitors it's not very warming to not know who to pay if anything to dock there for visiting any of the three establishments and especially not know if my boat will still be there when I get back to it. So all three of y'all owners there need to have a town meeting or something and get that mess resolved ASAP.
Now mind you I have only stopped to either grab a pizza on the way home from fishing all day ... Or get a sea food dinner plate from the restaurant on the other side of bootleggers lounge.
I haven't taken the time to stop long enough to have a cold one with bootleggers yet TO CLEARLY rate them honestly.
But they always seem to have a crowd. And I will plan to visit onetime before moving on in life to another town.
Maybe we will visit one evening when I am out of or a bike cruise. That's sounds like fun.
