Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday for 1st time. Amazing burgers!! Why was I never here before?
Amazing Broasted Chicken. When in Deer Creek visiting the Museum (My Fiancé’s Great Great Grandfather was one of the towns founders!) We stopped at the Bootlegger to be welcomed as we were locals. The reason for the post is to share how wonderfully delicious, scrumptious, moist and tasty the chicken was. Served with fries and some “slam dunk” coleslaw the BOOTLEGGER made our taste buds dance! We then went on a broasted chicken hunt and NO other bar/restaurant even came close!!!
The service was the worse when I got there both the bar tender and server went out to smoke I sat there. For at least 5 minutes to order a soda then some one at the bar got me a soda then I ordered a sandwich which came with fries asked for ketchup the bartender slam it on the counter and there are many other things I could say but there is not enough room. I am a server and never stiff ever but did that day. How they are able to stay in buissnes is beyond me.
$15.00 for a cheeseburger and onion rings, questioned staff at price, was told they drop the price for no fries and add an order of onion rings to the burger - $8.00 for 7 & 1/2 onion rings is outrageous. Food tasted good but not good enough to pay $25 for 2 burgers. Will not be coming back with these prices.
Love the new menu items, great home made soup and burger....can’t beat a 5oz sirloin for under $10.00, updating this review, their weekly specials are a good deal, $ 2 burgers and the best and cheapest New York strip at the weekends, they’ve also got a couple of local beers on tap!
Great food and service. Got to visit with the owner for a while. Had a bacon cheeseburger and tater tots and was beyond satisfied!!
Great food, great people (Ruth especially) and can’t complain about the prices at all. The California Burger with sautéed onions with thousand island sauce on it tastes like the 4th of July in my mouth. ????
Our waitress as most of them ran there buts off Thursday night everything was perfect made for a wonderful Birthday party thank you
