Comma to the Top — stop in for a hot boudin link and a cold drink or beer.
It is one of the only stores around that area and if he would add more snacks, drinks and crabbing/fishing equipment he would make all kinds of money. He was really nice and told us where we might be able to find some crabs. Nothing better than that!
These people are the best! If you happen to break down along this road this is the best possible place. They are friendly and very helpful! The restroom is spotless as is the store. The southern Louisiana hospitality is wonderful. I wish my home state was more like this and I wish I had a store like this one by my house.
Has a lil bit of everything for people going crabbing at the Refuge. Even though Rockefeller Refuge hasn't been completely repaired, Booth's is up and running.They do have shorter hours than previously but are still open 7 days a week.

Parts of Cameron Parish were hit the hardest by last year’s hurricanes, and one store that has been there since 1957 was no exception.
“This is the only place right now that is open. There only was two stores, but the other lady that had the store said she’s not going to reopen,” said Booth’s owner Ella Mae Booth.
Ella Mae Booth, more commonly known as “T-Mae”, built this store with her husband Red knowing the people of Grand Chenier would depend on it.
“We have almost everything that anybody needs.”
The store still standing today is the one they rebuilt after hurricane Rita and it managed to stand up against Laura and Delta.
“She’s very strong, very strong. And despite the storms, she was ready to start all over again,” said Booth’s niece Rose.
Storm after storm, at 93 years old, “T-Mae” has never been one to give up.
“I enjoy it or else I wouldn’t be here.”
Typical small community country store serving mostly locals. If you're from out of town you will not get the same small town charm from your clerk. Most of the clerks are longtime locals and are friendliest to other longtime regulars. Pretty standard selection of convenience items. Basic prepared food.
The person at the store when I went was super friendly and helped me with questions I had about the area. She was very knowledgeable. Great place to stop.
Nice, friendly owners. Very clean. Great boudin. About 30 min or so from pretty Rutherford beach.
