Everything was phenomenal, the fries were amazing, sweet potato and regular. The burger was hefty and juicy, and the fried fish was crisp and delightful. By far the best thing we experienced was the soup! We had the Reuben soup, complete with rye croutons in it for a spectacularly flavorful crunch. My only regret is not getting more soup to go! The only thing I could improve would be the ribs. While they were fall apart cooked beautifully, the sauce is simply sweet baby rays, nothing made in house. That aside, the fireplace was warm and inviting, and it was hard to stop smiling while sitting near it. An absolute must go to if you're in the area.
We just stopped for drinks and a snack. Emily was kind enough to agree to serve us on the deck. It was a beautiful day so we appreciated that extra service. Our drinks including Bloody Mary and Rainmaker draft were both tasty and we were enamored by the french fries! They were fried to perfection and had a delicious taste and texture. We eat mayonnaise on our fries and I didn't get a photo before we added that condiment.
The deck requires several steps to get there .
Absolutely Wonderful! The onion rings were perfection and the Ruben was Great!!!! We both enjoyed our meals but i won with the Ruben because she asked if she could have 1/2 of mine. Dont pass this Pub!!
My girlfriend had a party of 09 for a Bachelorette party in May 2022.
We did not have reservations and showed up around 1pm.
That staff promptly found us all seating and we were served 9 meals within 30 minutes.
Beautiful food presentation. Everyone left full and extremely happy. Prices were a bit expensive for me but I still ordered the steak regardless. I was not disappointed.
Charming strip of land to tour in the warm weather. Only complaint was the small bathrooms.
When you find out that your server has been working at the restaurant for her entire adult life, it's a pretty good sign! Great food, great service, and a very cool ambience in the cabin-like dining room (try to sit down below around the stone fireplace, or up on the deck!) make this a must for any visit to Suttons Bay.
December 2022! Had a great time. Good food, nice atmosphere. The bloody Mary (Massive Mary) was awesome! The locals were all really nice! One even bought me a beer for my birthday, thank you. ????
December 2023! Back again for the Massive Mary ???? I must say, this is a must if & when in the area & you like a good Bloody Mary. The Sliders, onion rings & garnishes are all great too! Cheers!
Our food was perfectly prepared & tasted great. The host was friendly, accommodating, & prompt. The facility is small and was packed with people. Our server did a fabulous job. She complied with every request, even when we changed our mind, with grace & patience. She knew the menue very well, made recommendations & described the daily specials. Our group was happy to be able to watch the 150th Kentucky Derby race in liu of desert. Sadly, my pick wasn't the winner, but 3rd place isn't so bad.
On this visit, I enjoyed a lite supper of salad & and soup, which were both delicious & filling. I also shared some appetizers. The onion rings & Arizona egg rolls were awesome. On my next visit, I hope to try the Porterhouse steak dinner for 2.
