Have been there a few times a few days ago dropped by to buy some stuff have a beer play a bowling game , ended up buying some food a large roast beef sandwich ( that was very good the bread used was so soft!) Wings to go that ended up being really really good and watched 2 periods of hockey. Service was very good , friendly and accommodating. Will def do that again !
Awesome deli / convenience store! The store is bright, clean and orderly. The master sandwich makers are cheerful and friendly ???? I took the (owner's?) suggestion to try the Cheese Steak Sub sandwich and I surely was not disappointed. My sandwich was hot, HEAPED with flavorful beef, tasty veggies and gooey melted cheese. Fantastic sandwich ???? at a very fair price! ????
Boondocks sandwiches are crafted with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. If you want to enjoy your sandwich on-site, you'll find a couple tables to dine inside in air-conditioned comfort or a picnic table with sun umbrella outside. There's also a riverside picnic table at the public boat ramp next door. The convenience store has a wide selection of beverages and a little bit of everything else you might need including fishing gear and household goods. It's an interesting drive to get here on Gobbler Rd. with many tight, winding curves; fun drive! Easy 5 stars!
First impression when you enter Boondocks Market is how exceptionally clean and organized it is. You think...wow, what a nice place, then you get a whiff of the aroma of fresh deli meat or smell onions sizzling with peppers for a fresh hot steak and cheese sub. It just doesn't get better than this. A great market with neat isles of perfectly placed grocery items, clean well lighted coolers filled with all the cold foods and drinks. There is health and wellness items, household items and even some fishing supplies, all very neatly displayed! Fresh Iced Tea and fountain soft drinks to go with that delicious Italian sub stuffed with the freshest quality boars head deli meat between a soft fresh sub roll. Hungry yet?
If you are one to search out a great deli with the best sandwiches around, Boondocks is definitely worth the scenic waterfront trip down Gobbler Rd to satisfy the most discriminating taste among you.

Great find! Here today as I'd been hearing they had great sandwiches. Got the Cheesesteak with onion. Omitted the green peppers. I think next time add extra cheese. Anyway it was delicious. Neighbor got the Redneck and they'd had it before and loved it. Prices are very reasonable. Great place to launch your airboat, stock up on food and drinks and take off. Stop in and support your neighborhood joint! Highly recommend!

Oh do I love there breakfast sandwiches. My husband will end up going for me every Saturday morning before I go in to work and purchase two of them . One for me and my coworker they are so meaty and the croissant is always so soft and delicious. Thank you boondocks for serving a great breakfast sandwich!
Our first time in, and the sandwiches were good. However, was not to thrilled spending $12 or $6 dollars on a sub and there is no sides just the sandwich. The sandwich my husband got the bacon was bad and turned my husband's stomach. My sandwich was good but the mayo was not spread on the bread and was all on the back of the sandwich so half was dry and the other half was like licking a mayo jar. The helpings are good which my husband enjoyed very much.
