This visit was a bit disappointing with the food. Very busy all seats were full. Even with it being that busy they kept the buffet full of food. There were a couple of choices that were not up to par. Perhaps it was that it had dried out in the buffet with people making other choices.

Tuna noodle casserole was on target. Meatloaf is always a winner. BBQ Beef Ribs ????.

Absolutely amazing service and food. Highly recommend. This place is definitely a little gem.

Boon Docks is mainly a place for locals to hang out and socialize. It seems like the whole town was there for dinner. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The service was a little slow, but not bad considering how busy the place was. The food was average at best, but that's not really why people go there. Overall, it was a good experience spending time with family and friends.

The owner is really nice. My husband got brisket which was very good but for the cheese sauce. Since ours was a to go order, the entire meal was soggy.

I ordered a taco wrap. It was tasty though cold, and it was supposed to come with salsa and sour cream. Instead it came with a small container of what seemed to be a very sweet ranch dressing. It definitely took away from the meal.

I would have liked to get a side order of mac & cheese but they would not do it. I didn't want to substitute I just wanted to buy a side of mac and cheese since it isn't on a lot of menus these days but it came with ham which is too salty for me.

The waffle fries needed to be cooked a little longer.

We will be back, and hoping for a better overall experience! :)

A fun Sunday drive can bring you here. My fav is the catfish, it's served hot and crunchy the fish itself just melts in your mouth. We all love the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon dipping sauce.

Today was our first bad experience at the Boon Docks. Out of three of us only one got a good meal. But her meal wad supposed to be cold. Our guess is that it sat far too long before being delivered to the table as we did wait an unusual length of time. which of course makes the hot food cold. Then there was bony & cold chicken & noodles, meatless & cold tenderloin with maybe a couple bites that actually contained meat. Sure hope there are improvements soon.
