Best Bono’s around. Food is excellent and service is great. Make sure you go on Friday or Saturday for Bo’s famous fried shrimp dinner.
First time here. Had the chicken platter and my gf had the ribs. Worked as a manager in a BBQ place before and the food was great! Rib meat fell off the bone and the chicken had a nice smoked flavor to it. Barbara was our server and was very attentive and had a great attitude. Definitely will come here again.
Excellent as always. Had the St Augustine shrimp special. Ice tea was sweet and yum.
I can’t give enough praise for the San Pablo Bono’s! We had a large group of soccer players and their families (about 30 people). Everyone enjoyed their meal. Staff was awesome and provided friendly, quick service! Thanks so much for taking us on short notice and providing excellent service!
While visiting the Mayo for ten days, I had the privilege of eating at Bono's. After surgery, it was my go-to spot for lunch and/or supper! I tried everything in those 10 days, I can honestly say it was some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time. Even better, all of their sides were great! Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the many types of sauces they had to offer. My father liked it just as much as me, and we loved that our plates fed us for more than one meal. If your in the area looking for a place to eat, just go ahead and stop looking, eat here!
My husband and I have been going to Bono's for many, many years. We love it. We enjoy their food and hope they stay around for very, very long time.
Best Bono's BBQ location in Jacksonville. Food is always fresh and service is fast and friendly. If your a worker you can come in and sit down and enjoy your food and still be back in time. Great spot for the family.
Not bad for a chain. We had coupons for $5 off on $25 so we decided to get 3 meats on a plate and the chicken. The pulled pork and briskets are tender and delicious. The spare ribs were kind of a disappointment given how dry and hard it was. It also seems like the ribs didn’t get marinated enough and not cooked long enough. The sides were better, especially the green beans and the red beans. Overall, decent price, decent food (I recommend the brisket and the pulled pork), but there are better bbq places in Jacksonville.
