Stopped for happy hour… 2-4-1 cab was decent- staff recommended the 3 meatball happy hour app - it was ok. Also ordered the mozzarella sticks- just ok as well. They each were $7 for happy hour and the wine $8. Great location on the Broadwalk! Service was good. I’d go back.
While at the beach, stopped in to get cocktails at Bonny and Read’s. The bartender, Tanisha made my husband a Miami Vice frozen from scratch (no slushy machine) and he loved it!!!!
She made me a delicious Rumrunner ????. She was so nice. So good to sip on this beautiful beach. Thank you.
When I walked by I heard these ladies singing during at the end of the bar. They reeled me in with their personalities. I loved how they had the doors open and are located right on the boardwalk ocean view, great breeze and atmosphere!! What is crazy is it cost $26 for a shot of casamigos when a fifth cost $50 must be the tourist part because other places on the boardwalk was saying over$20 too. Thankfully the bartender told me this when I ordered and not surprise me with the tab. I had the best time here on my little getaway vacation.
This was the first time visiting. We are big Bar Rescue fans so we wanted to check it out.
Though not sitting at the bar, the bar vibe was great! Those sitting at the bar were having a blast!
We spent most of our time looking at the restaurant, the pictures, and talking about what changes were made on bar rescue and that was fun!
We did notice the owners, but they were busy, I think it would have been neat if they would have went around to the customers just to see how things were. Just like us being first timers I think a lot of people would go there as a tourist spot because of Bar Rescue.
Now for the food. The menu was a little deceiving. I ordered a Philly cheese steak. The menu I believe said banana peppers, mushrooms and onions for $1 additional. I was charged .75 for each item.
I believe it should say each additional item.
It didn't come with lettuce and tomato as a lot of places. Usually when I order lettuce and tomato to put on a cheese steak they would add free of charge. I was up charged here which is fine but just wasn't expecting.
Than I noticed there was no cheese on it. I originally ordered provolone cheese. I told my server but said it's no big deal. I was just really looking for the $1.00 off difference. He quicky took it and brought it back to the kitchen. When he returned it didn't have the provolone cheese but like a nacho cheese on top. We just laughed. And I just said this is something new for me to try.
In the end , we took fun pictures. It was a fun experience that we enjoyed. I would come back for the bar experience. The food was a different non forgettable story itself

We stopped in for drinks and are glad we did! The drinks were strong and the bartender was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I asked her for a Gran Marnier float on my margarita after I had taken a few sips and she poured it on top and didn't charge me extra. There was a patron there who was too drunk to drive and called him an uber and made sure he was okay. I love the mouse traps that hold the bill. We would go back to this cute little beach bar for sure.
Our favorite hang out on the Broadwalk! Nice staff and great service! The view of the ocean is awesome.
So I came here twice back to back days. The first day was a rough start, it took 30 mins without service or being acknowledged. They had only one person working the whole place. Which overall he did okay. He charged normal pricing. No forced tip. The food sucked hard. I had the salmon burger. Super dry. No flavor except old fish. My guy said his burger was just okay. Basically I took it to feed the fishes.
so anyways I come back the next day bc at least the drinks tasted okay. I had a Miami vice the first day. The second day they decided to add an up charge without talking to me about it. So I get a receipt with Miami vice on it then they decided to add myers. I asked why she said if i wanted any alcohol in my drink then that’s why put it in. I go well a Miami vice is a booze drink of pina colada and strawberry daiquiri.
No point in arguing, so here I am writing a review to let people know to check their bills. You come here one day it’s one price but could be different the next. Only good for drinks.
I use to love this place. I don't know if they were having a bad day because the service was awful and half my food came after I already finished the main course. My husband and daughter said their margaritas were not very good and usually there drinks are amazing and the people who work there are usually very good at everything. Hopefully next time we go back it will be as great as always.
