Best WLM Reviews

We went here to celebrate my niece's first job after graduating college. We (12) walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. The greater explained that because we have 12 in our party, there was an 18 % mandatory service fee (this seems to be the new norm). As we were being seated, every person who worked there greeted us. We felt very welcomed and at home. The service from Shan during meal service was spectacular. He worked our table along with others without missing a beat. He took every order and delivered exactly as asked. The timing of the food was quick. Another amazing thing, the food was hot. The taste was good. John, the manager, checked on us and was very friendly and gave great customer service. Excellent service, food, workers, and atmosphere. We were given champagne to celebrate the occasion, which, of course, we loved, but we love that they thought of us even more. The cheesecake and the chocolate mousse cake was delicious.
Watermelon Mule was a wonderful treat, different and refreshing. The Calamari and wings were my favorite, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Everything else including the lobster mac & cheese was just ok. I loved the ambiance and the service was great as well.
I really liked the restaurant and the food. I got stuck off in a small side room away from everyone else. There was one other couple in room that seats maybe 12/14…would have liked to be with the rest of the folks. So for that o can’t rate higher in atmosphere…but if a you’re a small party, the room would probably would be perfect. Great blue cheese dressing by the way. Tasted as if it was homemade.
my husband and I had dinner at Bond 45 Last night was a Saturday night and very busy.. The hostess was very polite and very professional, and had a seated earlier than expected. We were seated on a side balcony that was heated, and the view over the national Harbor was very beautiful at night. The service was a little slower than I would've liked with our drinks and our food however, it was really busy. I'm sure the bar was doing the best they could because our drinks were fabulous. The food was fantastic. We began with fried calamari and shrimp, which had a spicy aïoli and crispy jalapeños. I highly recommend this as an appetizer. We love Empire steakhouse in New York City and I would say the steak that we had the tomahawk was just as good if not better.. We are our tomahawk with crispy Brussels. That were perfect. We didn't have room for dessert. Next time we'll have to try. The movie sound sounded divine.
How can you not like the location with its beautiful views of the harbor. Great food. We had the fried shrimp and calamari appetizer. Very large portions. My friend had Lamb Chops and I had the Divers Scallops with mushroom risotto, truffle for the main course. I took a bite of hers and I liked the way they were cooked. They recently added the chops to the menu and hit a homerun. The Scallops were cooked to perfection. Great taste. I had a side of the Brussels Sprouts and they tasted like someone just threw grated cheese over them. No flavor. Overall, a great experience and I will go back.
Thoroughly enjoyed our date night at Bond 45 for my partner’s birthday dinner. The restaurant is very cute, service was great, food was great! We ordered appetizer (the salmon crostini…chef’s kiss!), the Porterhouse steak with the rosemary potatoes was amazing, and so was the lasagna. The red velvet cake was delicious, too. We enjoyed every single thing, it was all seasoned so well. Portions were huge and we had enough to bring home for left-overs. Our server was very attentive and updated us on when the food would be coming. Can’t wait to go back.
The drinks were phenomenal. The alcohol wasn’t overbearing and the sweetness didn’t overpower the drink. The food was underwhelming. The entree choice for vegans are salads but vegetarians have numerous pasta dishes to choose from and some appetizer choices. I went with sides of green beans and mac and cheese. Neither were memorable. I had to add salt to both to have flavor. I ate them because I was hungry not because they were good. My date had French Lamb Chops with french fries. The lamb chops looked beautiful but had sub par taste. The waitress sold the lamb stating it was marinated over night so we assumed that equated to well seasoned, we were incorrect. No the french fries were FABULOUS, perfectly crisp and seasoned. We even ordered a serving to go. The garlic bread was soft, warm and tasty. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I wouldn’t return to this establishment to eat, there are numerous options in close proximity, but will definitely return for drinks. Parking is tough so we took an Uber from the MGM hotel
Food is not worth the price at all. My son’s medium rare steak was blue rare (raw). Chicken parm was blah. Spaghetti was overcooked and tasted like canned spaghetti. Dishes were so small we both left hungry. Coffee was also horrible. When you are charging high prices for food, at least invest in serving real half and half with coffee, not watered down milk. We had a waitress in training and she was sweet, but didn’t know what she was doing. The waitress training her didn’t help at all. It felt like our table was unimportant and ignored. Very disappointing.
