Best WLM Reviews

I've never been so disappointed.
I’ve ordered from this location before and occasionally the food was subpar but this time was completely different.
The food was just plain nasty. I ordered tteokbokki and usually there’s some missing rice cakes and it’s mostly sauce, but this time, the sauce was just plain watery. It had practically no rice or fish cakes and it tasted foul. Like it tasted the way I imagine dirty dish water would taste.
It was so bad I just had to pour it all out and couldn’t stomach it at all.
There was only a minuscule amount of fries, which were also soggy and cold.
The only upside was the chicken and it was just okay, everything else just soured my experience.
Chicken is delicious. French fries are really good. The Cole slaw and pickled radish are gross.. tasteless... the Korean donuts are AMAZING... However, I was annoyed by the price difference...advertised as $4.99 and in tiny fine print 99 cents for the sweet cream dip (which is delicious), for a total of $5.98. The waiter did not ask if I wanted the cream, and I was charged $6.29... its a matter of principle. We were a group of 6. My party was finished eating before I received my food. No real apology. No discount. Manager delivered the food with no apology or acknowledgement. My bill was wrong twice... just a disorganized mess
Good food, sauce was sweet and tangy but the wings could have been coated a little more with sauce. Its unique it has a candy crunch to it almost instead of a fried crunch. Parmasean fries were good too, but wings were huge.
Hello! This was my first time visiting Bon Chon! We ordered Pork Buns, Takoyaki, and Bullogi Udon. The appetizer Pork Buns are overpriced since the buns weren’t fluffy or stuffed enough. The Takoyaki was good, they fry it differently than the light panko breading but overall it was nice! The Bullogi Udon came out steaming hot, and we weren’t given chopsticks but only a regular size spoon. This made it impossible to finish or make it through eating the bowl in one sitting. The broth of the udon was good, and the noodles were great. The udon is the best value for the price. The restaurant floors are sticky, and there was only one person working front of house. So whenever a bunch of orders would come in, we were all stuck waiting around before we could get our check or to-go boxes. Please support your employees, the poor guy didn’t even have time to help put the soup in a to go container. No wonder the floors are a mess!
The food took a little too long to get me. However, when it arrive it was delicious. My server, Chauncey, was excellent. He was friendly, efficient and attentive. Restaurant was a little cold in atmosphere and very cold in temperature. Very good experience.
There is something about a huge chicken wing that I just can't get jiggy with. Bonchon is supposed to be Korean chicken (traditionally super crunchy), but the wings were so big it made the meat tough. The sauces were good but I wish I would've tried the chicken without it. The fried rice (seafood) had micro baby shrimp with peas carrots, and red peppers. It also had a very sweet sauce drizzled throughout that should've been offered on the side.
I know this is a chain restaurant but the food was highly mediocre. The best thing I had was the pickled radish.
Chicken Katsu is my favorite dish. The French fries are crispy and delicious. And definitely don’t sleep on the fresh donuts. They serve them warm and coated in sugar. Heavenly!
We are all acquainted with the chain and their offerings. The food, was as usual, very good, fresh, and just hot the spot. The reason I decided to write this review is the service though.
We came in as a family of 4 with 2 kids under 3. We don't often eat out because we are always too worried we are going to ruin someone else's dining experience but it was a hectic day and the notion of going back home and cooking was just too much tonight.
Right away, our server, whose name we never caught (kicking myself over that but he might be the manager) was attentive, empathetic and incredibly kind. He checked on us every 3-5 minutes and tried his best to anticipate any needs (extra napkins, utensils, empty bowls to feed kids). He was sweet and even shared he had 3 kids of his own. He did his best to ensure mom and dad got to eat as well and was all around amazing. We tipped generously but felt a review was also needed. I hope he reads this. He made our night and we will be sure to return.
