Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The food was great extremely authentic and fresh. The owner was there to greet us and service our food and was extremely polite and welcoming. 10 out of 10 will definitely try again
We have been coming to Bonani for over a decade and love it so much! The shrimp poori is incredible. The owner is so kind and always remembers me and my mom.
This is the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had. And trust me I have tried many in the area. I always get the Chicken Korma with white meat and onion naan. Seriously so delicious!! Great place for takeout!! I truly cannot believe the negative reviews on this place. They are crazy. This is a must try if you’re looking for yummy quality Indian food.
This was the moldy appetizer that surprised us at our dinner yesterday. I still wonder how they are still in business or why haven’t they done anything about their quality.
Our family has been coming here for years and always loved the food and friendly atmosphere. This year things have gotten even better when we started taking my son (a new Indian lover!) to eat in at the restaurant. The staff are so accommodating, friendly and happy to see him- and the food is even better fresh from the kitchen! My son loves the saag paneer and seeing his new friends.
Highly recommend best Indian spot in Fairfield!
I visited this place. The restaurant was smelling of stale oil which was unbearable. The attendant was unclean and looked as if he had not bathed in years. The general get up of the place was so poor that without a second thought I walked out and swore never to visit this place again. I am surprised the state food inspectors have not shut this place down. I remember this place used to be on downtown Westport a few years ago and they got kicked out of there. Please be aware.
I ordered food from them using Uber Eats. I ordered $95 worth of food for my sister and brother-in-law. When the food arrived it was cold, it was clearly old food they had reheated/repackaged and sent for the order, the food had an old rotten smell and some of the appetizers were moldy inside. I sent this food to them for Iftar (Ramadan) and it's really disappointing to see this. I definitely would NOT recommend this restaurant.
If you are a lover of Phaal curry you'll know how incredibly hard it is to find. This is the place to get it in CT! The curry seemed very complex in a home style cooking way I have not experienced with Indian food it was absolutely amazing. If you're looking for awesome and spicy Phaal this is your spot!
