Best WLM Reviews

Mother’s Day 2024, we had plenty of restaurant options but unfortunately decided to go with Bombay Grill. We ordered for 4 people and paid $82 and some change for it. We had 4 small bits and pieces of dry chicken in each of the four containers. The gravy was watered down to increase quantity. Ordered 8 full naans and received 8 mini naans “cut in half”. This was a special dinner for me, and the kids were upset because they were still hungry. Unhappy that their money was wasted on this food, I called the restaurant. The owner told me and I quote “we blend the chicken in the blender with the gravy that’s why it looks like there’s no chicken”. She told me to bring it back and they’ll put more chicken in it and send us on our way. Needless to say, we were not going to drive back 25 minutes after waiting on the food for an hour to get ready. No offer of any compensation for ruining our good night, or the lack of customer service and etiquettes. I have pictures to prove every word I said. There’s no hospitality in this hospitality business. Please be aware and be weary of spending yours or your kids’ hard earned money here. Beware!
Ordered an 80$ carry out order for my family on Mother's day. The order consisted of 2 chicken tikka masala, 2 chicken Malai, and 8 naan. Paid EIGHTY dollars for LESS than low-tier quality food.
The Chicken Tikka Masala had little to no chicken in it, the gravy was runny, and it looked very unappetizing. We gave them a call about it, and they basically said that there was nothing they could do about it.
This isn't our first time with an unpleasant experience at Bombay Grill either. We ordered Bombay Grill a couple months ago and had the same outcome, but we decided to give it another shot.
The results, unsuprisingly, were us paying 80$ for 30$ food at best with low portions, no chicken, runny gravy, and barbaric prices. Highly don't recommend.
Food quality is average. Or I can say below average. The lamb biriyani and chicken vindaloo are especially not worthy to buy. They taste so salty. Vegetable samosa was good.
Overall I didn't like the food. That's why I didn't take any photos.
I ordered the mixed vegetable curry with basmati rice. I was excited to find a vegan option on the menu. The mixed vegetable was pretty tasty despite the rice having a strand of hair. Customer service was not the best. Other customers were brought water to their tables although I entered the restaurant prior. Overall I give Bombay Grill a 5/10.
This is one of our top favorite restaurants in Auburn! Run by the nicest family!
Their food is always incredible! I try something new every time and I am never disappointed. They have a ton of amazing vegetarian options.
If you have never been here, you are missing out!
I eat Indian cuisines all the time. And you can bet this isn’t Indian food at all!!! Maybe if they prayed to Allah instead of Hindu Gods they food would taste better!! Not hate post but the goat biryani had barely any meat on the bones more fat than anything, and boiled eggs tasted like a cleaning solution like they just cleaned cooking material and not rinsed dishes properly. The rice was not properly prepared either. Food was not seasoned properly. Taste like they just throw seasons in pot and just assumes it taste good. Would give 0 stars if I could. And apdta I will not be coming back here!! I’ll eat all my Indian food happily in Atlanta. I should’ve known Alabama has no space for true Indian food. It’s money driven for the people who don’t know what real Indian/ Bangladeshi food is. I’m so pissed like another guy posted. It’s almost like they serve food to make you sick so you can go to doctor and they fix it. Another post say they got food poisoning. I simply threw my plate away because it wasn’t even worth posting. Had a better chance at a steak house or a 5 guys. SMH this is probably why they not living in India. Maybe even Indians don’t like them!!!
Food is good. That's it.
It took 54 minutes for our meal to be served. The restaurant staff stayed too busy finishing up take-away orders.
Most Indian restaurants, off late, been practicing this trend. Don't care much about the dine-in customers.
The dine-in customers will pay up anyway now that they are made waiting!!!
Will never visit this place again.
Very bad taste of food. Sour and sweet gravy of chicken curry , biriyani and everything. Feels like eating tamarind sauce in every dish. Moreover, I never feel like it is an Indian food. Too bad. Quantity was too small. For one person you will have to order at least four dishes to fill your tummy even if you eat very small amount of food.
