I have been standing at the counter eating Bolley's hot dogs for 25 years. I live a few hours away now, and try to stop in when i can for lunch, maybe 2-3 times a year. This last trip the food was as good as it always has been. The restaurant was cleaner that I have ever seen it. The staff has always been nice and efficient. But, this crew on Friday 4/19 was really on their game. 3 young well groomed clean professional looking women that worked hard, worked together, and really delivered fast polite expedient service. Compared to what I usually see in today's restaurant scene, Bolley's was leaps and bounds better than any other place open right now that sells a great quick lunch at a great price in a clean professional atmosphere. These employees were great, the food was great, the restaurant was great. Management and the Owners should be proud of what Bolley's is in 2024.
Staff is super friendly! Love the grilled onions and they're not stingy with them, the double cheeseburger was a good size for the price and super juicy, needed some salt and pepper, though. Unfortunately, they ran out of burgers right before the last of us could order so, that was a bummer. The fries were really good and fresh, not frozen, the onion rings were also good. Sorry to say, we didn't find the hotdogs anything special, but, we will definitely be back for burgers and fries. Fingers crossed they don't run out!!!
This is a fast paced hotdog shop with a small but delicious menu. You'll smell the place when you get out of the car and it's great. The grilled onions are perfect on anything! Hotdogs are delicious, as are the fresh fries and onion rings. Chili cheese dogs or sauerkraut and mustard with onions, both options are superb.
So good! Excellent customer service. With food being made right before your eyes, it's ready in minutes, and worth any wait time from quick lunch rushes, etc.
I've lived in California for 18 years and I came back to see this is STILL the best hotdogs and fries in the world. Simply perfection!

Great little hot dog and burger stand. Glad I saw it as I drove through Waterville.
