Decent price for a hot pot. I enjoyed my beef and my girlfriend got the seafood! I ordered mild but it might be too much for some when it comes to being spicy. The iced green or black tea was free unless you upgrade to large. Portion looked small and I thought I might have to ask for extra rice but it did fill us up. Glad I checked it out!
This is my favorite hot pot place. I usually order the beef soup. Tangy beef is awesome. Sometimes, they offer free black tea. Avoid going here during the weekends because it can get very crowded. The wait can be around an hour.
I've had hot pot before, but not this version where it's prearranged, but loved it. was a little overwhelmed with the menu because everything looked and sounded so delicious, my sister asked what meat prefer and we went with beef to make it an easy decision.
We ate everything. and I mean everything. A regular can feed 2 people, and with 2 sides of rice it's like $25..very doable! When we were done wish had ordered a large. Spice level 2 is prettttyyy spicy. enjoyed it but my sister kept pausing like whew (and we're Black and love spicy food).
definitely return for seconds someday!
The Taiwanese option had more toppings/food than what we usually have at TastyPot in Minneapolis. Flavor was a little too overpowering to us. Overall a good dinner for two since we ordered an additional egg noodle and a side of sliced beef.
The boiling point is a great place to stop for a tasty lunch. I love bringing my friends and family here, and the service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful.
One of my favorite hotpot restaurants in Seattle. I'd highly recommend getting either Taiwanese Spicy if you like it spicy or House Special if you don't, and I always have Fuzhou Fish Ball as and add on. I always come here during the lunch time since they offer free tea to compliment the hotpot. Try to avoid going here around 12:30-1:30 pm since the wait time could be more than 45 minutes. Overall, very satisfied with food and service and will come back again!
Boiling Point is always busy. Be prepared to wait or put your name on waitlist early if meeting a few people. I got the Miso Soup and it was so full of good things, I had to take some home.
Boiling Point is a fun, casual spot, with a good variety of mains that come in a selection of spice levels. They had a couple deals that sweetened the occasion: free tea, and buy one get one half off appetizers. I would say this is a great spot for a leisurely lunch or dinner before or after grocery shopping. It's ideal for families, small groups, or a casual daytime date. They validate parking.
