Took a hood and bumper (off the car) to them March 18 for an estimate. There 1st question was this paying for it? I told them I was paying. So they told me they couldn't do it in a week. I said okay what about 2 weeks and they agreed. Every other week I stopped in to get an update on progress and I was always told we will get to it next week. We'll its April 18 and I stopped in to get an update and what do you know, they haven't touched it yet. I picked up my parts and will take my business else where.
My car was in an accident. It took about 3 months for them to finish my car. The day after I got my car back the passenger bper popped out. I called him and he said he would call me on Friday. That was over a month ago. Than a couple of days later a plastic grill piece fell off at a stop light. Than a couple a weeks after that. I open my driver's door and It bent my fender. This guy never calls and when you call him he says Friday or Monday. I do not recommend. I have to call the insurance company on and make them deal with this because they paid for it.
I am a resident of Alamogordo. I called for an estimate for minor damage to my semi tractor . He said that it would be best to take photos and he gave me a number to text them to. I did what he asked and no response. I gave a little time and reached out again. No reply. Because my phone number is out of state he probably thinks I’m don’t live in town and can just disregard me. If that is how he conducts himself that is poor character. Maybe take your business to someone who treats everyone the same.
May 2023. Took my truck in to have an estimate on painting a replacement bumper that I purchased at a salvage yard. Told me the bumper wasn't usable and proceeded to give me an estimate on a replacement bumper at an outrageous cost. Took the bumper back to the salvage yard and verified that it was the right bumper. Will go somewhere else.
Johnny was honest with me from the beginning of the process. He gave me the best and worst case scenarios and then stuck to it. He is honest and seems to really care that the vehicle is complete. I rarely give reviews, good or bad, but this one is a necessity! I HIGHLY recommend him!!!
I’ve brought 2 of my car here’s to see if they would be consistent in the quality and lies they’d tell. It took a full month for them to repaint my bumper and once I got the bumper the paint was already marred. On both cars they’d tell me a date it’d be ready, I’d come in to only hear “tomorrow”. This kept on for weeks on one car. It’s just come to be expected the estimated date cannot be kept. Would not recommend if you want quality work in a timely fashion.

Ordered the wrong part after having the insurance report for a week. I would also have to call to check the status. After getting my vehicle back we had to take it back again because they had scratched the paint on the NEW bumper. Also not aligned it correctly. Not a huge deal they did fix it on the spot. But why give a vehicle back with scratches? Check your work and order the right parts. Just don't waste your time and take your car somewhere else.
I don't normally write reviews for anything, but I have to give it to these guys. My car was in an accident a while back and due to conflicting statements, we were forced to either junk it or repair it out of pocket. We initially tried another repair shop in town and were estimating far more than we expected. They took so long to get to us to check out the car and even longer for an estimate. So, after failed attempts to ask for a detailed list of parts/repairs (which we still never got), we decided to try Bodymasters.
They were amazing fast to get us an estimate which is much less than the other place and they offered a list of repairs/parts without me having to pester them about it. They were super informative and kept me updated and made sure I understood all the repairs they needed to do without simply saying it needed to be done and leaving me in the dark. The repair too less time than expected (though to be fair, first time I've ever had to do this) and it looked great once it was done! I definitely recommend not settling and at giving these guys a call about any collision repair you need. I'll definitely go back to them for anything else, though let's hope I won't have to!
