Best tattoo shop in the Midwest! Always a great atmosphere and quality professional work!???????? Currently have 2 arm sleeves and they just finished my first piece on my leg, which will be a full sleeve. I have been going here for 24 years, and my first tattoos are vibrant and colorful to this day. I get compliments all the time about my ink and people are surprised by the age when I tell them. You get what you pay for, and I will choose quality over tattoos that fade in one year. Body Gallery is the best shop around! I’ve had a few bad tattoos from other artists, and since meeting the crew at BG I will NEVER go anywhere else again! LJ has re-pierced my nose and he’s just the sweetest down to earth guy, so polite! The same goes to Scott! He does all of my tattoos, and makes the whole environment humorous, and as comfortable as possible. Let’s face it tattoos are never comfortable, neither is sitting for hours at a time in one position while being beat with needles. ???? I personally have never gotten a tattoo by James, but I’ve watched him and seen his work! He’s amazing as well! This is the place to go!
My daughter and I just got matching tattoos from James yesterday. We are so thrilled with the results. James was super professional and made sure to check if we were ok during the process, as it was my daughters first tattoo. He listened to our idea and put together an awesome tattoo. We felt comfortable and welcomed the whole time we were there . A couple weeks before we had LJ do a piercing on my daughter. LJ was also professional and super nice. I couldnt ask for a better environment to be in . Thanks to Body Gallery for having us, it was a good time and we will definitely be back ! .
gotten all of my piercings done by L.J. and i’m 100% satisfied every time. he always makes me feel so comfortable and i fall in love with every single piercing i get. would never go anywhere else. everybody here is so friendly. james is so talented and i constantly get compliments on the tattoos he’s done for me. i would give more than 5 stars if i could.
My 11 year old daughter had her ears pierced today by LJ. She was extremely nervous and had taken a few years to work up the courage to get them done. I cannot speak high enough of LJ. Very professional and goofy! He made my daughter feel comfortable and at ease through the whole process. He explained every step before he began and as he went along. Thank you so much sir! I will be back for sure!
Lucky to even get 1 star from me. I've known these guys for Years and I have to say I was a bit surprised the way my daughter and I were treated lastnight We went in for ear piercings...nothing crazy and we were approached by LJ who basically said what do you want. We were not properly or professionally confronted. He was also kind enough to mention us not having an appointment. ???? He did nothing but complain about him having to stay there till 8, but if we wait around, we might be able to get pierced. No, thank you. I don't want you in a hurry while piercing me. I've always gone to these guys but never again. These guys act like they are way too busy, so I'll take my business somewhere else. I'll also advise others as well. That's how disappointing our visit was. ????
Oh btw the problem wasn't the fact that WE didn't have an appointment because of course that's on us BUT the way we both were approached was unprofessional and uncalled for. If walk ins are accepted as they say then why have such a disgusting attitude about it when you have. Couple walk in for some simple ear peircings. If you don't have the time then be nice about it and say that. That's all. I still will take my business somewhere else.
Scott did an amazing job on bringing my piece to life! Will definitely be back for more work in the future!

Scott just knocked it out the park again for my 2nd piece!
These guys are awesome! I have always heard this was the place to go. Well I finally know for sure and can't wait to get it finished! It is a tribute to our recently lost daughter from an accident. They were very happy to help!
