Old time cocktail lounge- both decor, employees and customers. Bartenders Terry, Richie, Mike and all provide good drinks at fair prices. Cheeseburger one of the best in Vero. Also, I get it- not for everybody. I've seen complaints about no reservations, ordering food at bar not always available. So don't go here if that's your feelings. I will gladly take your seat at the bar.
My husband and I had the most delicious Prime Rib, we've never been disappointed. We had a fabulous server named Diane, so friendly and knew exactly what to suggest for drinks and appetizers , we didn't have to wait for anything. We hope she's available the next time we are in.

Waitress was a lot of fun and kind, and the dishes were very good, especially the grilled tuna and grilled grouper. The plate of fried shellfish was also very tasty and indulgent. Cheery intimate place that the locals recommend (thanks Spencer).
Food was good. Average price. Everything was well until the check came. 4 people in total (two couples). They would not give us separate checks but would allow us us to pay with two cards and we had to figure out what that amount was. Very inconvenient as we spent more than the other couple.
Based on reviews, we visited this place for lunch while in Vero. On a whole I was disappointed. There were 8 of us and only 2 of the 8 were happy with their meal. My burger was way over cooked. Honestly the food was bland. The service was nothing that knocked my socks off. The restaurant was below average on almost every level.
There are a few very negative reviews here and I can’t fathom what they are based on. Everyone was so attentive and friendly and the place has an 80s quaintness and charm. Every thing I ordered was cooked perfectly and was exceptionally delicious. In all honesty, I can’t remember a better prime rib I’ve had and I come from Las Vegas, the land of prime rib.
First time at this restaurant and was really disappointed with the food. I ordered the 32.00 + ribeye and my husband ordered grouper my steak was cooked properly but had 0 flavor and tasted like a frozen steak thrown on fire with no seasoning and a lot of fat my potato was at least a day old so I didn’t eat much my husbands grouper was good but very small portion I also felt that we were being rushed by the waitress because it was around 9 I loved the ambiance and ocean but for the money we spent I’ll stick to outback one other weird thing when our check came it was 45 per person plus appetizer and drinks instead of the menu prices which were less but we just paid it and left
This place is absolutely atrocious. Anyone that says anything different is lying to themselves. Honestly, this place is so dated and overpriced. Quality of food is just bad. $30 sandwich and it was on a (burnt) hot dog bun, like really?! Tuna special was laughable, gravy was out of a can. Like the whole meal, 10 people, everyone had similar things to say. This is an early bird, old people spot. Usually good service should make up for the subpar food, but the waitresses were very cold and seemed annoyed. We all thought they were off putting. Just a bad experience and absolutely would not recommend this place. Parking was non existent, ambience was old and dated. It was not very clean either and the seats were sooooo uncomfortable. Save your money and go somewhere else.
